3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A tasty amber ale, not as good as other Ballast Point brews, but not bad. Pours bronze color, medium carbonation and head. The aroma is citrus and honey, and the flavor is more of the same. Never wore out it’s welcome.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Keg, Leicester Dog. Deep bronze heavily freckled with white. Watery after a Dog with limp soggy peach and sponge notes, hints of chipshop batter, iced tea and rose water. A bob of cherry Tune. Aroma of red boiled sweets, possibly cherry Tunes, grenadine and candle wax. Low condition. No finish. Bland to the pitch of an alcohol free like Nanny State with all the freshness and flavour sucked. Beyond Indifferent.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Dark amber with thick creamy head. Toffee malt aroma. Big, thick mouthfeel taste with a good hit of citrus & piney hops balanced with full bodied malt. A rich beer especially considering the ABV.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at The Answer, thanks to Spies for the sample. Poured a clear medium amber, decent head. Aroma of caramel accented malts and light citrus hops. Flavor a match. Certainly not as bland as a lot of Ambers, but coming from Ballast Point I had hoped for a bit more hop assertiveness. But not a bad beer. Just wanted more oomph.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20

Can sample at Beer&Beyond shop. Clear amber with a beige head. Smell of honey, caramel, piney and herbal hops. Grainy malt flavors, a bit piney and grassy, nice fruity bitterness. Medium-bodied, smooth texture.
