A rich, copper ale with a case full of gold medals.
Our California Amber takes its inspiration from traditional English ESBs. Four types of malts give it a bold complexity, and our proprietary yeast strain lends it a fruity, madeira-like richness. However, itís the American hops that give this ale a distinct bite and floral aroma that have earned it just about every major beer medal.

Hazy dark amber with small fast fading head. Smells of caramel malts with an acidic note. Flavor is caramel, citrus, and herbs. Itís an OK ale but sure not worth the higher price. Not going to be getting this one again.

minutemat (4154) - Shrewsbury, Shropshire, ENGLAND - OCT 1, 2015
355ml bottle from Brewdog.com. Pours a reddish amber with off-white head. Overly syrupy and malty for an amber. Like other Ballast beers Iíve tried recently this definitely needs to be toned down a bit. Hard to finish.
