Feb 10, 2006 Draft from BP, early Dec 05 tasting. Nitro. Opaque black with creamy beige head. Medium roasty malt aroma, with notes of dark fruits and chocolate and coffee. Similar flavors - moderate amounts of roasty malts, chocolate, coffee, and more dark fruits with distinctive plum notes. Creamy mouthfeel.

Sep 4, 2005 OPaque black with a large rocky dark tan head. Served on nitrogen with CO2. Roast malt and vanilla in the aroma. Milk chocolate, vanilla and hints of coffee bean. Slight roastiness in the finish. Body is medium heavy and very smooth.

Aug 19, 2005 2003 vintage on tap at O’Briens: Pours a nearly opaque, very dark brown with a dense, frothy, dark tan nitro head. Aroma is milk chocolatey with a hint of tartness and cream. Starts nicely subtly sweet with good mild dark caramel and light fruitiness. There are hints of tartness in the body, but not too strong, heading toward a dark chocolatey finish. An interesting imperial stout, but could be thicker.
