On nitro at Old Grove. Pours a deep copper with a smooth off white head. Aroma of toasted malts, toffee, caramel, and some fruits. Taste is smooth and is mainly fruity, toasted malts, with some caramel and toffee and a tad of hops. Has a medium body with a creamy mouthfeel and a slightly watery, sweet, short finish. overall, lighter, maltier, slighty less tasty then Calico.

we had this..er...copper colored ale on nitro and co2. pretty unassuming both ways but pleasantly malty with notes of nuts and caramel, very light earthy floral hops. As a full pour, nitro slightly prefered."

Smooth, creamy, easy-drinking session beer, especially when presented as a nitro draft! One of the best American ESBs I've had!

My sample was tainted as I had this on a nitro tap. Deep copper color, small but sturdy nitro head. The cream head hides any aromas of this beer. Smooth cream over a spicy hop bitter with light nut undertones. The cream and bitter spice plays off each other so well.

On nitro at brewery. Hazy copper brown with a thick creamy white head. Malty, nutty, toffee aroma. Nice creamy silky light bodied palate. Tastes of cereal grain, nuts, and toffee with a lightly bitter dry finish. Nice.

Nitro pour at RIBCO, pours a clear copper with a creamy white head that stays around forever, the aroma is really earthy with lots of bread and caramel, the flavor has a nice clean front end with lots of the bread and caramel through out, nitro makes it super smooth and enjoyable, not bad.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On nitro at Tap 25. It pours a perfect, clear copper penny color with a creamy off white head. The aroma is toast and earthy, herbal hops. Very fresh. The flavor is smooth notes of toast, herbal tea and earthy hop bitterness. Floral. Strong bitter finish. Drinkable and subtle yet complex. This is what I imagine the best of the English bitters to be like.

Copper reddish in color... Aroma of caramel malts... Had it on nitro, mouthfeel was extremely creamy like you'd expect, but flavor was sweet and malty, with a slightly bitter finish... Not much complexity or flavor but easy to drink.... Solid

On nitro. Clear copper amber pour, with an off-white nitro creamy head. Caramel malt, a bit bready, and some bitterness. Creamy with a light body. Easy drinking, but not very interesting.
