Holy alcohol forward dipa batman! This is ten percent. Not much to taste but your brain is fucked up so who cares. Ballast point has impressed upon me high alcohol beers with just over the line taste. And that is ok. I will always purchase their stuff. Reliable and consistent. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours clear bronze with a good sized beige head. The aroma has tropical fruits, tangerine, dank funk, pineapple and sweet caramel malt. It has a medium full body with very light frothy carbonation which is plentiful. The taste starts with a sweet tropical fruit punch taste - pineapple sweetness, mango, spice and some point along with sweet malt that would be overpowering if it wasn’t for all the hops. The finish has more spices and earthiness, and houses the alcohol incredibly well. Super solid IPA.

What a great double IPA. Great citrus piney aroma. Smooth flavor but not as heavy as most doubles I've had. Could drink a few of these at a sitting. Maybe my favorite double I've had so far. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Murky burnt orange with a bright white head. Sweet toffee, crumbly cheesecake base and tropical hop aromas on the nose - pineapple mainly. Very big but overly sweet aroma. Pine, grapefruit, honeydew melon, grass and sweet toffee, it’s pretty damn good. Thick body, good carbonation and silky afterfeel.

Draft. Amber color with a thick white, soapy head. Aroma is grapefruit, oranges, and pine/resin. A lastly bitter punch that is at first balanced with tropical fruit flavors.

Pours a very pale golden color. At first I thought the head was lacking, but it quickly built from the bottom and cratered with large bubbles on top. Carbonation appears to be somewhat light looking at the glass. Aroma of pine, resin and wet grass - all good hop smells. This beer has a lot of bitter hop bight as soon as it hits your mouth. I’m not sure if I’d call this beer one note, but hops is the overpowering characteristic. Given the ABV on this beer it is surprisingly crisp in the mouth, too, so you could probably drink a couple of these without your mouth tasting gross.

Always a fan of single hops IPAs and all the more imperials. No let down here. Lots of bitter citrus and exotic fruit from the hops. Balanced malt with a little sweetness. Bitter, bitter and not at all boozy in the finish. Great execution.
