Pours a nice clear golden color. Citrus, pine, and grass on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium-bodied, and has a little bite on the finish. Overall, pretty decent DIPA.

I’ve had better. Not often though. This might have, if it’s possible, too much bitterness for some people. HAs a decent length, and not a dry finish, not a hint that it’s of 10%ABV. I thought there was a nice note of grapefruit to passionfruit and a lovely sugary sweet aroma. I liked it and I have a whole bottle to myself.

22oz bottle. Thick oily pour, amber/orange color. Thick creamy foam. Aroma of citrus hops, West Coast style. Flavor of sweet sugary malts, bold hops flavor. Mouthful of hops, citrus, pine resin. Lingering bitterness. Thick, heavy texture, big body. It’s a big, very strong, high ABV at 10%. So easy to enjoy this bottle. This one might be the top ringer of my Ballast Point brews that have past through my palate & into my belly. Cheers. (4039)

Tastes like the west coast. Bubbly movement in the glass as it rests in front of me. I wold recommend this beer with good friends from college and their three young girls. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

on tap, pours a lovely misty golden yellow with a big head and tons of lacing. Nose is pine, hop flowers, dry grass, grapefruit. Big taste, not sweet at all (hard to do at 10% abv). Clean long dry finish. great IPA

Pours a deep, clear copper, with small head. Strong hop aroma, with some breadiness and citrus. Flavor is very bitter, full pine hops, with a surprising sweetness and some distinct floral, citrus notes, strong grapefruit. The alcohol content is largely masked, but there are some boozy flavors as well, even a bit of licorice. It’s a really pretty good DIPA.
