Sweet, hoppy. Solid IPA. On tap at Magpies in Seoul. Only IPA in the ROK. Very good on a cold Korean night...slight alcoho warming and high alcohol makes this good.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a cloudy dark orange with minimal head. Aroma of citrus and pine with a hint of sweet malt. Taste is heavily bitter. Citrus and pine resin with grapefruit and a solid malt backbone. Full bodied with a thick sticky texture. Lively carbonation and a super long, bitter citrus finish. Overall, very good. Would love to try this one super fresh though.

Pours a nice apricot ale with a central dome and rim of light tan foam. Smells of caramel, honeydew, resin, tangerines, some pineapple and honey. Nice nose. Flavor is sweet with plenty of toffee, resin, grapefruit, tangerine again and some mango. I like the flavor. Medium body on light syrup with moderate carb and an off dry finish. I like this beer. I am surprised by this beer (for no real reason)

Bottle, shared with GCDP. Hazy deep golden, verging on light amber, with a thick white head. Beautiful hop bouguet here, a mixture of pine and tropical fruit, and with a lovely spicy undertone in the lengthy bitter finish. Oily and moderately resinous, heavy mouthfeel. Densely flavoured, delicious.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
The PRO here is the decent ipa flavour. The CON here is that it doesnt quite patch the hoppy punch you’d expect from a double IPA.

@ Basunen: en mycket trevlig doft. Smaken har tydliga frukttoner och en lång och len eftersmak. Fin balans men saknar något för en dipa.

22 ounce bottle. Hazy amber gold color. Big bubbly beige head. Sweet toasted malt aroma is overtaken by the big rush of pine and grapefruit hops. Huge bitter hops upfront. Notes of grapefruit and black pepper cascade on the palate. The bitterness is huge. If you crave hops, this DIPA is for you! The high alcohol seems to pale in comparison to the intense bitterness. The finish is bitter, dry and endless. This is one badass hop bomb.
