Big west coast style DIPA , full of hop notes on the nose, and enough of a hop kick to clean away the 10%abv.

Keg at BD Shepherd’s Boost. It pours clear golden-amber with a decent foamy off-white head. The nose is bitter-sweet, pine, sweet tropical fruits, creamy malt, toffee and a touch of spice. The taste is bitter-sweet, pine, resinous, oily, peppery, grapefruit rind, stewed orange, mango, light toffee, light greeness and good alcohol boost with a lingering bitter-dry finish. Medium+ body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Big brash west coast hop-bomb. Decent.

Bottle from Elmanana. Many thanks! Orange/golden colour, creamy white foam. Aroma of tropical fruit, pineapple, citrus, pine. Sweet with bitter hoppy aftertaste. Very well balanced. Easy drinkable. Very good!

Keg at Brewdog AGM 2015. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of mango, tropical fruits, light pine. Taste is more of the same. Oily texture, slightly sticky finish.

12 oz. bottle pours a clear golden orange with small off-white head that leaves lots of lacing spots. Aroma is full of pine resin, citrus, and sweet caramel. Taste is bitter at first and at the finish with lots of good sweetness in the middle. Body is medium to full without the sticky/oily mouthfeel I expected. This one is too easy to drink. With alcohol well hidden it sneaks up on you. One of the best IIPAs I’ve tried in a while.

Looks like magic and tastes divine. Pine, tropical fruit and sweet caramel caress the taste buds and it finishes resinous and bitter. Damn good.

355 ml, bottled 6/1/15, from Bier-Deluxe.de, shared at Bratislava Slovak-Austrian RB Tasting.
Deep golden to amber, clear body, with a big, creamy, yellowish head.
Aroma of grapefruit, resin, pine, biscuit, honey.
Taste follows this, with some tropical fruits.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes bitter, resinous, a bit alcoholic, a bit dry, with pine, grass, grapefruit, biscuit.

Really tasty! Maybe not as extraordinary as other DIPAs, but a straight, classic example of this style. The perfect balance between piney, resinous hops and smooth, biscuity malts is really examplary!
