3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft- Bright gold cloudy orange with small white head and nice lacing. Aroma and flavor are both a bit weak, with earthy grassy hops and toasty malts. Little citrus as the description states which is disappointing, but okay overall

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
World of Beer, Baltimore, draft. Nice hoppy bitter aroma, but not strong enough to make my eyes roll back in my head. Aroma smells a little like a farm, if you get my drift. Has a sharpness, an anise, to it.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle (12 oz) bought @ Cambridge Wine & Spirits. Hotel Room Tasting.
Appearance: Clear bright golden/orange with a small fully lasting white head and little lacing.
Aroma: Quite hoppy (dank and citrusy hops) with a lot of resin, alcohol and herbal presence.
Taste: Medium sweetness. Quite resinous with dank hops, citrus/tropical fruits, light spiciness, boozy presence and medium bitterness.
Palate: Medium to full body. Moderate to medium carbonation. Super oily mouthfeel. Dry resinous finish. Warming.
Overall: Impressively drinkable for a 10% abv DIPA. It’s a bit boozy, but it’s not one of those horrible DIPA that you could confuse with an hoppy Barley Wine. Tasty and well balanced.

5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
Another unreal beer from Ballast. Big huge hop aroma, flavor continues with hop forward ness, slight malt sweetness with some alcohol residual. Ours crystal clear with an opulent hop finish.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle: very light haze, straw with a little copper. Medium head but great lace. The nose on this is awesome. There ’s a load of hops but that’s balanced buy some massive malt. Citrus caramel, fruit, tropical and intense. Far more malt than you would usually see on a West Coast Double IPA. Dry, opposite of sour but very bitter. Massive flavor and texture as well as being as bitter as your mother n law.
Almost has an English note to it. Freshness is great for the level of hops and alcohols.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
12oz bottle Looks like a jar of honey. Golden hue, thin head, Pour shows some density that is evident in the pine resin. citrus and over abundance of hops. All that hops is well balanced leading to a pleasant, lingering bitterness on the pallet. 10%abv is noticable.
