Draft- Bright gold cloudy orange with small white head and nice lacing. Aroma and flavor are both a bit weak, with earthy grassy hops and toasty malts. Little citrus as the description states which is disappointing, but okay overall

Bottle bought at Bier-Deluxe. Very hoppy, quite alcoholic, not so much of a malty base, quite fruity, grapefruit mainly. I liked the Sculpins more, they are more sessionable and just taste better.

UPDATED: JUN 2, 2015 66cl bottle straight and fresh from SD, THANKS BOB :D !! Pours a medium and almost white dense head; nice deep and bright orange colour, quite cloudy. Smells fruity, huge aromatic hops, floral, sweet orange, piny, fresh. Tastes big malty, citrus, resin, herbs; medium initial sweetness followed by a high and huge bitterness. Perfect carbonation, medium to full body, oily and silky texture. Really big smacking hops in this one like some other very few I’ve tried. Awesome aromas, and good drinkability for being a 10% DIPA

Hazy deep gold with huge foamy lacing white head. Aroma rocks floral sweet citrus hops. Taste is sweet and tangy grapefruit hops in a caramel malt backbone. Finish is pine hop bitter and quite dry. Very astringent aftertaste. Nicely balanced DIPA with more bitter character than most. Very good.

This ones as good as sculpin. It might even be better than sculpin. Absolute ridiculous amounts of pineapple. If you like the taste of pineapple/pineapple juice this is your double ipa. It smells so fresh and clean with just massive amounts of pineapple. You start to get some peach and mango as it warms up but still keeping that pineapple vibe. Taste is exactly what you’d expect at this point. Big pineapple juice with a big bitterness. Malt is there but isn’t syrupy and weird like so many dipa’s. Dry finish with a lingering fruit juice. So good. I would drink this until I couldn’t and at 10% (which you would never know) that could get challenging. Cheers!
