From South Bay. Same hop/malt profile as dreadnaught just not as peachy and complex. Really fantastic.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Good clean earthy aroma of sweet malt, sharp pine hops and grass. See through light crimson color with huge stark white head. Taste is sharp bitter hops with the only malt showing through in the beginning of the sip. Bitterness lasts long after, all the way through the aftertaste. Excellent palate. Overall, I must say that itís a bit 1 dimensional in the taste, but everything else is on point, making it a worthwhile beer to try.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz to snifter. Very clear rosy-bronze pour with a finger of head. Super piney, herbal, floral nose with a resiny blood-orange/grapefruit undertone. Flavor is explosive pine resin, biting grapefruit rind, big malt presence as well. Colossally-flavored, sticky, verdant, not for the fragile palette.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
355ml bottle from Brewdog online store. Orange golden amber colour, white foamy head and aroma of tropical fruit mango & juicy citrus hops. Taste is sweetish, malt caramel balanced with mango, hoppy resins, citrus grapefruit & pine bitterness. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry lingering earthy grassy bitter finish. Very drinkable.

355ml Bottle from BottleDog, London (£4.50):
Outstanding stuff from Ballast Point, itís a shame their beers are so hard to find here. This one tasted exactly like a DIPA should with lots of tropical fruits, resinous pine & bitterness plus plenty sweetness. The beer had a great balance & as such I didnít really notice the 10% save for some touches of alcohol here & there. Surprisingly easy to drink with a real juicy feel to it; definitely be on the look out to try again soon.

Fantastic DIPA. The dorado hops balance out the alcohol content extremely well and makes this high ABV an easy drinker.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle into tulip glass, fairly clear orangy-light copper color with white lacing. Aroma notes of strong floral/citrus hops, some tropical fruits, tad grass and caramel malt sweetness. Taste adds fruit jelly, potpourri-like floral spice, resin, grapefruit, mango and light earthy bitterness. Heavy-medium body, low-moderate carbonation, dry, sticky, rich with lingering citrus/pine finish. Interesting beast, crazy well balanced with a neat fruity jelly thing happening in the flavor.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: JUL 27, 2015 Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a dark orange color with a medium sized foamy orange-white head that left great lacing. The aroma was bitey and bitter with perfume, floral hops and pine. The flavor was boozy, bitter and bity with floral and perfumey hops. Very long finish. Meh.
