3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap flight at the brewery. Honey colored pour with a well laced white head. Malty nose. Flavor is coconut, malt syrup, and rum. Not what I was expecting but good. Hoppy barley wine?

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pony Bar, NY tap ($5): Pours brownish with a beige head. Aroma is pretty crazy, for it is a combination of citrus and whiskey, with a little booze. Taste is very complex, although a little bit off-balance. Lots of wood and vanilla, a little bit of hop bitterness, plenty of sweetness, and some citrus. This is pretty good and on cask it was pleasant.

Draft at pony. Pours a golden body with thin foamy white head. Aroma is super sugary hops. Mouthfeel is medium to thin (thanks cask) with notes of sugar and citrus hops.
