Cask at Ulysses NYC. Cloudy yellow color. Foamy, extremely bitter and hoppy with a slightly boozy taste. Not bad. A nice sipper ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Tap 25. It pours a golden orange color with a white head. The aroma has fresh intense ginger root and lemon peel. The flavor is ginger and pine sol. Citrus peel finish. Interesting beer, and well executed for what it is.

Draft at the brewery. Gentle ginger aroma, mild ginger flavor up front, seems to mellow the hops, etc, of the normal big eye brew. Solid ginger front, great bitter and citrus hop finish, nice stuff

Draft at ballast point with Linh. Pours an amber body with white lacing. Aroma is delicious ginger, tea, oranges and light hops. Mouthfeel is medium with notes of spicy ginger, tea leaves, mint, lemon and fresh floral hops. Ballast point has really proven their efficiency in pairing their base beers with the appropriate peppers. Wonderfully unique.

Taster at Old Grove location. Pours a golden amber with a small white head. Aroma is of citrus hops, ginger, sweet malts, and some caramel. Taste is of grapefruit, candied ginger, some pine, and some caramel malt notes. Has a medium body with a very creamy mouthfeel and a dry, bitter, and spicy finish. overall, a pretty tasty and interesting beer that would probably go great with sushi.

Draught at Tadg’s. Shiny orange-amber with lace. Big citrus hop nose, spicy but not overtly ginger, until it warms a bit. Nice fruit, slightly tropical. Sweet malt flavor with more ginger, nice hops. Good balance and nice bitterness. Nice body, rich but a bit fizzy. Good stuff.
