3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft at SB. Pours a crystal clear medium gold with bronze highlights, creamy light white head, and tons of steadily rising nucleation columns. You canít much ask for a prettier beer. Clear ginger on the nose, accented by some pine and caramel, but definitely predominant with freshly grated ginger root. Perfectly showcased. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Lightly toasted caramel, pine, and plenty of ginger on the mid palate. Finish gets a little hot and bitey from the root flavor, but in a pleasant, clear, and spicy way. No trace of that dishwasher-soap-y cheap ginger note you occasionally get in crappy restaurant cooking. Well conceived and executed beer without a doubt.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft pour pint at special brews. Part of the ballast point brewers night. Pours a clear copper color with a lasting fizz head. Aroma heavy with bitter hops and orange fruit. Flavor has just enough ginger to be noticeable and not enough to be annoying. Ginger can totally be that annoying friend that hangs around past their welcome. Overall a fun tasty drinkable IPA. I can see myself enjoying this with some sushi.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a deep golden with a medium sized head & some lacing on the glass
The aroma is fruity hop right away with some ginger.
Its lightly malty but heavy handed on hops and ginger!
The flavorl is more gingery than medicinal (thank goodness) but itís still a little medicinal. The light sweetness & fruit character balance this beer fairly well beyond spiciness & ginger.
Itís no doubt a winner in the gingered up IPA category (not sure if thatís a thing)

Pours a slightly cloudy amber color with no head retention and minimal lacing. Smells bitter and of ginger. Tastes like ginger, but itís not too overwhelming. A good beer overall!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Taster at brewery... Same appearance as regular version. Hop aromas are muted by the ginger presence. Ginger is again dominant in the flavor but balanced with citrus and pine notes. Dry finish ... Nice one...

4 oz pour on draft at ChurchKey shared by Travlr, thanks! Listed as Big Eye with fresh ginger root. Clear golden amber with off-white head. Aromas of big fresh ginger, herbs. Tastes of floral notes and ginger. Medium body with a dry finish. Nice gingery aroma but doesnít mesh as well on the taste for me.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft at Ballast Point. Clear copper amber color with a lasting white head. Big ginger aroma with citrus hops. Flavor is heavy ginger, sweet malt, caramel, citrus hops on the finish with mild bitterness. Medium body and carbonation. Good but I prefer the non-ginger version. Just like people. Gingers are creepy as hell (#noracist #forreelztheydonthavesoulstho).
