Tap at Rattle N Hum. Golden pour with a white head. The nose is loaded with light spicy ginger over a soft pale malt base. A little bit of candyish sugar flavour - although it’s not actually that sweet. An almost savoury character on the back. Pretty hoppy on the back - almost astringent.

on tap-pours cloudy amber with a thin white ring. Aroma is lime, light malt. Taste is chili, ginger, light malt.

Draught at Tadg’s. Shiny orange-amber with lace. Big citrus hop nose, spicy but not overtly ginger, until it warms a bit. Nice fruit, slightly tropical. Sweet malt flavor with more ginger, nice hops. Good balance and nice bitterness. Nice body, rich but a bit fizzy. Good stuff.

Med amber color. Pink grapefruit and tea. Nice mouthfeel with lots of ginger, grapefruit and oranges. Excellent balance. Smooth.

Draft. Deep amber-red beer with anoff-white head. Citrus hop aroma with some sweet malt backing. Citrus and a little pine hop flavor with malty sweetness. Finish is too clean and hops don’t linger much on the aftertaste. Ginger in background.

on draft at Ballast. Great brew with nice bitterness and a touch of ginger. Would be great with some sushi.

On tap @ Ballast Point. Clearish yellow/orange with a small head. Aroma of ginger, citrus and some light malt. The flavor is more IPA with just a hit of spicy ginger. Medium body with average carbonation and a clean finish. This was better than I had anticipated, the ginger aroma is way stronger than the flavor, which was nice for me.

Draft. Clear golden amber pour, white head. Spicy ginger, light sweetness, citrus, and bitter hops in the finish. I thought it was quite nice, interesting twist on the IPA.

On tap at the Ballast Point brewer’s night at the Daily Pint. Pours with a clear bronze body and a huge off-white head. Aroma is hoppy, pine, candied ginger, and herbal. Taste is spicy, hoppy and caramel. Very interesting. Dry and spicy mouthfeel. Good beer.

Had a taster on tap, amber and clearish in color. A tad bit creamy. A decent beer.
