COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ten different malts and six different hops (Ahtanum, Cluster, and Spalt to name a few) combine to create this full-flavored, small beer. Even Keel features a silky malt backbone and a bright hop flavor and aroma that come from the late kettle additions and dry hopping with 1.5 pounds per barrel. Even more layers of flavor are created with fermentation being done by two strains of yeast. This session ale is herbaceous with additional citrus aromas of lemon and grapefruit. The orange to copper hue draws you in and the low alcohol volume keeps you coming back for more.

From a can. This is pretty thin, but I suppose that’s what you want with a session ipa, right? Flavor is good a bit of hoppiness. Would drink again if I wanted to go slow.

Draft - nose is mosaic and citrus. Sip adds a light malt presence. Light as the style would suggest. Meh

Very nice session IPA by Ballast Point. Great fruity grapefruit-citrus aroma, medium-high carb, medium-light body. A little bit watery, but bitter and refreshing.

on tap @ Hebron Brew House / Hebron KY --- Clear medium copper amber, persistent 1" ivory head, sheets of lace. Aroma of hops and malt. Taste is mild malt that adds a kick of carbonation as well as medium hops. A light brew, but a true American Session Ale. Looks good, tastes good enough.
