3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap @ The Blind Burro, San Diego.
Pours clear copper color with a small head. Nice hoppy aroma with caramel and oranges, some floral notes too. Malty flavor, some oranges, resinous hops and faint grassy notes. A bit disappointing.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught @ the Blind Burro, San Diego, CA. Pours a hazy golden amber colour with a large foamy head. Aroma of floral hops, citrus and some biscuit. Flavour of crisp citrusy bitterness, quite strong biscuit maltiness, pine and mild sweetness. Light bodied. Refreshing, but maybe a bit too malty.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Being very familiar with this brew, I was surprised to see I had not reviewed it. Can to teku; deep, clear reddish-amber with a supremely pleasing head. Oozing hop aromas before I even put my nose near it. Right off the bat, a prickly pepper nose rich with ripe fruit, toasted malt, savory/umami, foliage. Taste is toasty spice/wood, little layer of citrus juice, a malty, pale floral linger. Easy body, unmistakeable flavors, rich and vibrant balance of malt and hops. Finishes easy, goes down delightfully. This one is definitely tops in the session category, among a small handful of others.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 fl.oz. can. Pours a hazy golden with a medium, long lasting, off-white head that laces. Fruity, hoppy aroma of grapefruit and peach. Sweet flavour of grapefruit, peach, mango, grass and pine with a slightly dry, bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Nicely done. Lots of flavour for such a low alcohol beer.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from a can dated 07/22/2015.
Aroma is fairly hoppy with some moderately strong tropical fruit notes. Medium light citrus with some light cracker and caramel malt notes.
Pours a fairly clear, golden copper color with a fairly large, thick, slightly off-white head that lingers for a really long time. High lacing and faint legs.
Flavor is slightly sweet with some medium light cracker and light caramel malt notes. Medium bitterness with moderate hop notes. Some grapefruit and lighter resin and tropical fruit notes.
Mouthfeel is medium light bodied but slightly watery with some medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low, pretty much nonexistent alcohol warmth.
Overall, a very sessionable and crushable hoppy beer. I normally don’t like the maltier IPAs, but I think these session ones need it to hide the really low ABV. Hop character could be a bit more pronounced, but still a really good beer.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: SEP 3, 2015 Easily one of the best session IPA’s/APA’s that I’ve had. Clear, amber. Not sweet but not parched, tasty esters. Got to chatting with Joe Ostaszewski, former FSU footballer about his Saving Justin child obesity crusade, and it seemed rude to take replete notes. Still, very nice. On tap, Brass Tap, Tallahassee Midtown.

Nice fresh 12oz can. Pours light golden with small white head. Nice fresh hop and citrus notes is the aroma. Flavor is citrusy hops, grapefruit, zest, light malts. Finishes with nice amount of bitterness. On par, if not better than FW Easy Jack. Good stuff.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
nice, citrusy hop aroma; really citrusy hop flavor; very light malt base - really like liquid hops - no malt to get in the way; all the hoppiness of an IPA at only 3.8% abv so you can have a bunch
