COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ten different malts and six different hops (Ahtanum, Cluster, and Spalt to name a few) combine to create this full-flavored, small beer. Even Keel features a silky malt backbone and a bright hop flavor and aroma that come from the late kettle additions and dry hopping with 1.5 pounds per barrel. Even more layers of flavor are created with fermentation being done by two strains of yeast. This session ale is herbaceous with additional citrus aromas of lemon and grapefruit. The orange to copper hue draws you in and the low alcohol volume keeps you coming back for more.

12 oz can served in a lager glass. Good looking beer with a light copper colored body topped by a semi-durable, off-white head. Exceptional lacing. The herbal-grassy-citrus hop mix is not exactly what I prefer, but works quite well anyway and has excellent balance with the malt load. O: a flavorful ale with less than 4% ABV, this is a true and exemplary "session IPA"

Super easy going with moderate hop bite, light bitterness and resin presence. A nice low alcohol brew. I could drink all of these! Pours a bright golden straw with a hue of orange. The nose is fruity, fresh, and citrus heavy. Light malts, honey sweetness, mild caramel. Nice well balanced ISA

Taster at AEON Liquor. Quite hoppy, leaning towards herbal and piney flavors with a light caramel edge, bitter finish. Decent session IPA even though I like them more fruity than bitter.

Bottle from Breeze Thru. A golden orange, very clear, pour, with a white head leaving some streaky lacing Aroma has a nice piney citrus boost, with some lemon and light caramel. Taste is of tangy pine, grapefruit, nice caramelly malt, and some chewy resin. Medium bodied. Little alcohol presence. Finishes lightly bittersweet. Well blended, but light. Solid for style, well balanced. 14

Bright amber appearance with a large white head and decent lacing. Citrusy, herbal, resinous hops influence the aroma. Surprised that with 10 different malts, as per the commercial description, that they are not more pronounced in the taste. There is some graininess and a light touch of caramel, but the hops dominate. Malts are a bit more evident in the aftertaste. Light bodied, well carbonated mouthfeel with an average length finish.

Can from wegmans. Pours clear copper with a medium sized white head. The aroma is quite piney, herbal, some citrus, a bit of a lemon zest. The taste is quite bitter, plenty of citrus to balance out, a touch orangey and grapefruit. Well done.

2015-08-14. Dark orange body with a small beige head. 3+ Aroma is hoppy, lots of leafy green hop character. Flavour is moderately bitter, some green hops and malty base. Average bodied palate, soft carbonation. Didn’t really do it for me. Can at Campground Brewdown.

Pours pale and hazy. Aroma is soft with grassy hops. Body feels a bit weak and watery but that’s OK. Feels hoppy and refreshing. I guess quite decent session IPA, not sure if I like them but this one is not bad.
