COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ten different malts and six different hops (Ahtanum, Cluster, and Spalt to name a few) combine to create this full-flavored, small beer. Even Keel features a silky malt backbone and a bright hop flavor and aroma that come from the late kettle additions and dry hopping with 1.5 pounds per barrel. Even more layers of flavor are created with fermentation being done by two strains of yeast. This session ale is herbaceous with additional citrus aromas of lemon and grapefruit. The orange to copper hue draws you in and the low alcohol volume keeps you coming back for more.

12oz can. Pours amber with a big, foamy white head. Aroma is of hops, citrus, caramel, and biscuit malt. Smells surprisingly balanced. Taste is of very juicy, floral hops. Lots of pine. Has a very bready malt backbone that evens it out. Light, soapy mouthfeel. Linger is of pine and hops. Bitter, but not overly bitter. Goes down very easy. I could definitely drink a few of these.

Copper colored beer from a can. Mostly clear with a cream colored head. The smell is malty, caramel, pine, fruit, and good. The taste is pine, bitterness, some sharpness, fruit, good. Good overall tiny bit harsh that leads to a slight off balance.

In Can so aroma and appearance may be off, very smooth citrusy IPA, could actually drink this frequently! Not bitter at all...nice!

BOD 042/15. Pours a clear amber with a hint of garnet. Outstanding head volume and retention, world class lacing. World class nose of blended hops. Citrus (grapefruit, lemon), tropical (mango, pineapple) and pine all make an appearance over a subtle biscuit. Light medium body that has a smooth texture and a bit of oiliness. Slightly above normal carbonation with a bit of effervescence in the middle and a nice burst in the finish. The outstanding flavor profile is intense and hop flavor forward, slightly complex and fairly balanced. It begins with hop flavors that never relinquish the forefront. The flavors follow the nose with a blended hop profile that begins with tropical, flows to citrus and shifts to grapefruit and pine in the middle. The middle is mildly bitter over a hint of biscuit. The finish is slightly dry and a rind bitterness lingers. A superb session beer and possibly the ultimate lawnmower beer.

Floral hops and a deep malty aroma one from this pale copper brew with bits of FOD and small white bubbles gathering around the glass. It's very hoppy but not bitter with a slight sweetness and crisp taste followed by a grainy and slight bitter taste. It's very light bodied and would be pleasant on a hot summer day.

Very tasty, session beer. Little ABV makes it easy to pound a six pack and not feel bad about it. Nice hoppy, citrusy flavor. Way better than drinking any macro light beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can pour darker orange copper with thick white head. Nose big floral, citrus, slightly green hop aromas. Taste mix of sweet malt and floral hop up front then moderate bitter for a session. Herbal floral flavors continue through the finish. Mid palate the flavors fade out a bit. Easy drinking.

Relatively light toasty malt but very strong citrus hops, plenty of bitter. This one is kind of like eating a tangerine. Drank from the can. Average carbonation and a little sweetness. Refreshing and delicious.
