Lager meets IPA in a winning combination.

Our Fathom India Pale Lager combines time-honored lagering techniques with the hop profiles of a West Coast IPA recipe. The cold-fermenting lager yeast provides a clean base that allows the citrus and pine aromas from the hops to really shine. The result is a gold medal beer with a refreshing, easy drinking character and just the right amount of depth.

Pours a nice Amber, aroma grabs your nose as you bring the glass up for your drink. Bitter, but not Sculpin bitter. Enjoyable lager. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Golden orange, white head, and nice lacing. Floral, mild pine, mild citrus, mild lemon, and mild grain notes. Full bodied lager, nice balance, dry notes, floral-citrus throughout, and mild alcohol notes. High hop bitter, but not overwhelming due to balancing sweet malt. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Alibi, Seoul. Fruity hops aroma with tropical and red fruit, perhaps some strawberry. Clear amber under a lasting, clingy white cover. Strangely minty flavour (northern brewer hops?) along with some litchi fruit and stone fruit accents. Medium light body, almost crisp, moderate carbonation.

Blah. I don't get this style because I didn't like this. I love IPAs but not this beer.

Bottle. Pours a shinny clear golden with a creamy/ bubbly white head that lasts quite a while. Aroma is pineapple and passionfruit, very rich and clean. Flavor is clean tropical fruit hoppiness with a touch of alcoholic sweetness at the end, with a gentle bittersweet/ hoppy aftertaste. Medium palate, just a touch warming and salty. Nice, kind of cleaner sculpin, but I prefere the later though.

Maxís Taphouse, Baltimore, MD. From notes. Shaker glass on tap. Pours clear amber, two finger white head, nice lacing and retention. Aroma I clean, crisp light malts, herb, hay and grapefruit rind. Taste is herbal and floral bitter with some caramel sweetness in the back. Light body, lively carbonation, silky mouth feel. Finishes bitter sweet with notes of grass, herbs, spruce. Very earthy character for a lager. Good beer.

Aroma is yeast, candy/sugar and floral hops. The flavor is citrus, light grapefruit, fruit, hops, malts, slick texture and a tart/mildly bitter finish. Among the easiest to drink IPLs Iíve had.
