Lager meets IPA in a winning combination.

Our Fathom India Pale Lager combines time-honored lagering techniques with the hop profiles of a West Coast IPA recipe. The cold-fermenting lager yeast provides a clean base that allows the citrus and pine aromas from the hops to really shine. The result is a gold medal beer with a refreshing, easy drinking character and just the right amount of depth.

Bottle:   Golden, a little fiery, very fine sediment, thin to moderate frothy white head, nice lacing.   Strong grass up front, hidden behind some alcohol and hops.   Oh nice, soft straw/hay up front, sweet, smooth, with citrus bitterness and hops coming in on the backside.   This one is very well balanced.   Finishes both aspects of a big lager with a nice Pale Ale or IPA.   Well balanced is how I would sum this up, everything works well together, and clean!

Clear golden, small white head. Melon, bubblegum, grass, light pine. Sweet moving into strong bitterness. Mid body, oily, lightly carbonated. Quite solid beer, very drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

After i drank this, i immediately jizzed into the empty glass. My mother in law judged me a bit but i don’t care. I love it.

Clear brilliant golden with a thin cap of white head. The nose is wonderful and exactly what I want out of an IPL; lots of piney and grassy hops and some faintly lemon zesty bitterness with a strong backing of biscuit malts. The flavor is a little bit like beer batter; bready, toasty, a bit sweet, chewy yet flaky, a touch herbal, and smooth. Nice grassy bitterness at the end. Long leafy hop finish with a touch of lager-malt-booze heat. Wonderful. Never had an IPL that wowed me like this.

22oz bomber from Brick Spirits. Pours a hazy orange color with a thick frothy white head. Aroma sweet citrus, grapefruit skins, pine, and a hint of yeast. Taste of orange and lemon zest, grapefruit pulp, pine, and grain.

Deep blond color with creamy generous head. Wonderful fruity aroma, mature apricots. Round mouthfeel; sweet malt flavor, but also lean an easy to drink, with a good bitterness level, apricot fruitiness, and soft hop resins.
Balanced and very pleasant.

Une nez de biscuits, d’esters fruités et de fruits tropicaux, rafraîchissant mélange. En bouche c’est dans la même veine, bonne structure maltée mais croustillante, une bonne résine, amertume amicale et buvabilité sans bornes.

This is really tasty. Smells fruity and tastes fruity. A nice example of how a lager can benefit from a good hop list. Big fan of this one. Will become a go-to.
