Lager meets IPA in a winning combination.

Our Fathom India Pale Lager combines time-honored lagering techniques with the hop profiles of a West Coast IPA recipe. The cold-fermenting lager yeast provides a clean base that allows the citrus and pine aromas from the hops to really shine. The result is a gold medal beer with a refreshing, easy drinking character and just the right amount of depth.

Light hazy deep golden color with a fine white head. Ok lacing. Citric, fruity and some alcohol in the nose. Medium + body. Tad sweet and a fine balanced bitterness. Citric, malty and fruity flavor with some alcohol in the tail. Quite fine and refreshing strong lager.

Orange amber colour with a thick, puffy white head and plenty of lines of tiny carbonation. It’s a bit of a looker and fills the glass with gorgeousness. The aroma is of orange blossom and zesty tangerine to the fore and the initial thought on flavour is of how much raw alcohol comes out. It might just be because it is the first beer of the day, but it shows out along with those citrus flavours. It is mouth-filling and sherbety with punchy bitterness and that alcoholic heat sits at the top of the chest, warming my throat. I know I’ve highlighted the alcohol and wonder if it is entirely necessary, but this beer is delicious.

Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma of biscuit, grainy malts, fairly bitter hops And some weak fruity notes. Taste has the same notes with a fairly bitter outcome. Would rather drink this than any regular Pilsner. Would like to try fresh .

Odd aroma; like a wet stone. Tastes better; the hoppy bitterness makes your taste buds stand straight up, the light taste of honey and raisins balances it all up.

Pours clear amber with two fingers of frothy white head. Aroma of grapefruit, light resin, caramel, pine and a touch of peach. Taste is balanced malty sweet and resin bitter, without either dominating. Body is light and smooth with soft carbonation.

Can. Clear golden with off white head. Massive hop aroma of lemon zest, lime, tangerine and pine. Sweet malt flavour with bread and grain present finishing in great hoppy bitterness. Far from regular lager beer, but what is regular anyway these days? I enjoy more crisp flavour in this to separate it from an ale.
