COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lager meets IPA in a winning combination.

Our Fathom India Pale Lager combines time-honored lagering techniques with the hop profiles of a West Coast IPA recipe. The cold-fermenting lager yeast provides a clean base that allows the citrus and pine aromas from the hops to really shine. The result is a gold medal beer with a refreshing, easy drinking character and just the right amount of depth.

Tap at Ballast Point. The beer pours to a glowing golden body with a white head. Aroma is hoppy and fruity. Flavor is bitter hops with a dash of sulfur. Lots of grains like an artisan bread. The palate is bitter and medium bodied.

Bière de soif par excellence, à 7%! Agrumes bien dosés et amertume douce. Manque un petit punch mais une des meilleures que j’ai bu dans le genre.

Draft at the brewery. Pours clear amber with a fizzy white head. Tastes like creamy grapefruit, caramel, sweet nutty hops. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like musky hops, musky grapefruit, and cereal malt.

Bomber pours orange with a lasting lacy head. The nose is grapefruit and mandarin and other seed-fruit: lemon, lime. Citrus/grapefruit on a medium-bodied palate, ending with a very dry citrusy finish. Overall, I think this would be an even more interesting beer if BP lowered its ABV and made it into a 5% session beer.
