Tap @ Hams. Pours yellow with a bright white head. Nose is light and relatively hoppy. The taste is hoppy and pretty bitter with a resin character. A bit too bitter for my palate. Also my first beer back from being sick.

May 2, 2008 On tap at the brewery. I was really into this brew. I think the ABV was around 6.5? Great piny nose with some citrus. Went down easy like every lager does.

Apr 24, 2008 Draught. ??My notes, taken from the blackboard, talk about Fathom IPA?? Good yellow head, leaving some lace: pale orangey beer. Very grapey, dry hops, bit salty/oystershell (high DMS?), fruity end. Dry hops, less bitter than expected, orange marmalade and a pinch of quinine. Medium bodied, slick, some alcohol ’t would seem. Good, if unspectacular. If it is really a lager, then it would be spectacular indeeed.

Apr 2, 2008 On draft at Obriens; I thoght this was an IPA rather than an ESL; to me it seemed a lot more IPAish. Nose was lightly garssy hops with a little citrus accent; copper with a small off-white head; flavor had some caramel malt to balance out the hop bitterness; finish was lighly bitter. I would have liked some fruitiness rather than so much hoppiness if it is an ESL. But good anyway!
