3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20 beersearcher (1472) - Glendale, USA - JAN 20, 2012
First tastes were really good. Good balance of citrus and pine hop aroma and taste. As it warmed, it kept getting stronger and lost some of the initial verve.
4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 skmikeg (237) - Poway, California, USA - MAY 5, 2012
pours a orangey straw yellow with a small white head and some lacing. Aroma is of citrus, grass, pine, pilsner malt, bready malts, and some tropical fruits in the background. Taste is of citrus, tropical fruits, pilsner malt, fresh cut grass, and baked bread. Has a medium body with a super creamy mouthfeel and a nice dry, bitter, refreshing finish. Overall, a excellent beer that I would classify has a cross between a IPA and a pils.

Pours a soft clean straw yellow with two fingers of sticky white head. Nose shows lots of citrus zest and crushed pepper. Very "Pacific Jade" heavy. Resinous, almost oily character. Very spicy and peppery hop character. Lots of resin and oily notes. Bitterness gets a little heavy. Medium bodied.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 jonno (1453) - JAPAN - APR 10, 2012
Quite hazy dark lemon colour. Soft hoppy nose. Full and round. Quite sweet and sticky. Lots of unfermentables. Very clean tasting with a decent citrus hop finish. Quite refined. The yeast leaves a bigger body which balances the hop attack quite well.

On draft at Tonys Darts Away: nice piney nose, dark yellow small head. Taste is fantastic and for a 7.8 percent beer, it’s smooth and very easy to drink. Great beer as many of BP offerings are.

First rating! On draft at Rattle’n’Hum, where it was called an India Pale Lager. Whoa boy - is there an avalanche of IPLs coming our way? For me it seemed like a first-rate craft brewed lager, with a lot of green hop action. Complex flavor - verbena, citrus, some sweetness. Very good.
