Growler with Bob. This is a great pale ale - nice deep grapefruit flavor with serious hop bite.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 20/20
Very nice APA - hoppy and rich yet smooth. Draft at rattle n him in NYC, unfortunately a little flat and warm which spoiled the aroma a little. Saved by the fruity grapefruit notes, dank hops and sweet mouthfeel. Very hoppy for an APA. One of my favorites from a great brewery.

Pint glass poured from a Growler purchased at Growl Movement in Salem OR
$13...one of the most expensive in the place.
Deeper gold coloured ale with a small white head..leaves gorgeous lace down the glass.
Great fruity , orangy hoppiness in the aroma..wonderful for only 35 ibus!
Taste is the same bursting with fruity bitterness! Getting some Seville marmalade in here..grapefruit..lemon zest..just great. Malts are here too
Good mouth feel keeps things moving along.
One of the tastiest and best APAs I have had. UInbelievable hoppiness for 35 IBUs..a skilled brewer made this.

On tap at Landmark 1850 for Jess’s 50th (along with Hopslam and Zombie!!) for my 75th pale rating. Held its own in a tough crowd! Orange pour with an orangey head leaving streaky lace. Big time citrus in this one, with fruits and pine, and eventually some biscuity malt. Finishes bittersweet and well blended between the two. A very nice one from one of my favorite breweries. 15.8

[2/20/15] Draught at Ballast Point Old Grove in San Diego. Clear deep golden. Aroma of “green” hops, a bit oniony, a bit fruity. Flavor has some sweet malt, fruity and oniony hops and a bitter finish. Medium-bodied.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
2015-03-04. Golden orange body with a small white head. 3+ Aroma of vegetation, celery and moderate citrus. Flavour is moderately bitter with an earthy fruity hop melange. Average bodied palate, soft carbonation. Okay, I was hoping for more of the fruit and citrus character to come through. On tap at Birch & Barley, Washington DC.
