Tap at Ballast Point. Fucking awesome. Pours a slightly hazy gold with white head. Citrus, lemon, orange, grass on the nose. Taste has the same but toss in some well-placed pine. Mosaic hops are fucking money, use more mosaic and citrus, EVERYONE! Made by Doug Pominville--obviously a fucking pimp.

Draft at Butcher and the Boar. Pours a clear, light amber color with a big white head and some lacing. Aroma is hoppy, dank, citrus, orange, grapefruit. Medium on the palate with creamy carbonation. Flavor is sweet, malty, nutty, some bread, hay, grass, pine, grapefruit, a whirlwind of hoppy goodness, with a clean, bitter finish. Excellent.

On tap at the India St Tasting Room. Gold in color with a decent off-white head. Aroma is like a danky pine tree snaking you in the face. Tons of pine, dank hops, onion, light garlic, herbal notes, grass and resin. Taste is of pine, dank, grass, onion, bitter herbs, and just enough malt to hold it together.

Tap @ Tap That. Clear golden pour with a white head. Floral hops, spicy citrus, pine, and supporting bitterness in the aroma. Taste pine and supporting bitterness with citrus and chalky malt. Clean yet substantial mouthfeel. Damn fine pale ale - and then some!

On tap at Beachwood BBQ, Seal Beach, poured into shaker pint. Appearance is clear orange-amber with a finger and a half of white head that lasts and leaves patchy lacing. Aroma is grapefruit, mango, pineapple, pine, and biscuit malt. Taste is hoppy citrus bitterness with a fading pine note followed by a balancing malty sweetness. Medium bodied, slightly oily texture, average carbonation, just to the bitter side of balanced on the finish.
