Hold your nose before you drink this one. Smells like rotten onions. Flavor is pretty good though, but I’m not sure what they were thinking with the funky aroma.

Chappy's, Dayton, OH, draft. Oh my. Grapefruit and orange and hops. Clean and crisp. Nearly perfect. Thin head, some lacing, incredible taste.

UPDATED: APR 24, 2015 Dark golden color with a medium sized, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, toasted malts, caramel, tropical fruits, and some citrus. Taste of citrus, pine, toffee, grapefruit, tropical fruits, and a bitter, hoppy finish.

1/2 keg reserved at Consumer’s Beverages in WNY. Once got home, rested, and tapped this beer is getting some wows. A very hoppy first taste. Great head and color. Hint of sweet and nicely crisp overall. Great for spring/summer weather. Very impressed with this BP limited edition pale ale.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Mosaic hops all the way in this bad boy. Some earthiness in the taste and nose. Pretty full bodied for a PA. Could use a little citra. Great stuff.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at The Lackman, served in a pint glass. Pours a clear gold color with a small, lasting white head. Notes of florals, citrus fruits, pale and sweet and caramel malts, pine, grass, and earth. Light-bodied, with moderate to medium carbonation and a bitter mouthfeel. No individual component of this stands out, but it comes together quite nicely.

On draft at Aces & Ales, Las Vegas. I’m not much into hoppiness but this is well done. It has a fairly complex flavor, yet smooth. Not much aftertaste. If I was in the mood I would drink this again.

Bottle from 7-11i: Poured a brass colored gold liquid and was topped by a thick foam cap which eventually retreated. Nose is fragrant with fruity hops that also have a whiff of citrus dash of light spices. The aroma reminds me a lot of a sculpin but much more tame. The flavor is mild with minimal bitterness from the hops used but has almost an herbal tea like taste but with added suagr. Definitely not worth $16 for a six pack. I feel ripped off.
