3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Light spice and citrus aroma. Darker golden in color with a thin white head. Nice spicy start with a bit of copper. Surprisingly smooth finish for such a spicy start.

4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Nice citrus aroma but mild. Cloudy orange with a foamy white head. Good balance on the IPA flavors and malt. Peppers leave a burning sensation on the back of the throat which is as pleasant as it is unusual. Nicely done.

Ick. I really don’t like pepper beers I’m finiding. This has a long-lasting spicy bite, that basically takes the greatness of this beer and ruins it for me.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours dark golden orange with a dark eggshell head. Aroma is grapefruit hops and underlying pepper notes. Taste is good and hoppy with grapefruit and orange then it goes into a mild spicy pepper taste, but the burn goes down and leaves a lingering burn in your belly that kicks up the heartburn. pretty good, glad i got try it.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours deep gold into a tulip. Bright white head with good retention recedes to coat surface. Resin and mild pepper aromas. Sweet resin and caramel upfront quickly turning to an oily pepper that lasts through the long lip-smacking hot pepper finish. Nice, but not a lot of sculpin.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Aces and Ales 2. Pours a clear amber with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has pine hops with underlying pepper notes and a backbone of earthy grains. Flavor has pine and grain up front with a strong finish of hot peppers.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at World of Beer in Arlington. Clear golden with a large off-white head. Aroma is of grass, peppers, huge citrus, floral. Taste starts with grapefruit, bitter florals, grass, and pepper, the finish is an excellent burning sensation. Very well done. I was worried that the pepper would overpower an IPA that I love. The peppers have a strong presence, but the wonderful IPA notes still shin through. Probably my favorite pepper beer.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap, clear amber pour with small off white head. Aroma of floral hops, grassy and pepper. Taste of floral hops and then the pepper kicks in and overtakes everything good about this beer. I love spicy hot but this totally is off base. Initial great IPA taste, perfect carbonation and mouthfeel and the habanero takes over in the middle and peppery heat finishes strong and long and dry. Not really my thing.
