On tap at beermongers - pours orange with a white head, earthy pepper with slight citrus aroma. Balanced heat, zippy hops, the pepper is well showcased.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap @ The BeerMongers... Poured clear amber with a thick, lacy white head. Aroma was mostly dank and earthy hops. Heat and chili pepper presence with a clean finish and lingering spiciness. Balanced and not too heavy with the heat and actually pepper flavor which was pleasant.

Draft. No spice in the nose just normal hoppy aroma. As you take the first sip and thatís when the habanero kicks in. Itís hot for a minute but mellows out pretty quick surprisingly. Best Habanero beer Iíve had but you still need to really enjoy spice like that to fully enjoy this beer

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft sample. Gold in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas are of sharp citrus juices, light malt, and a dusting of pepper. An interesting flavor progression: grapefruit and lime, followed by incendiary (yet very clear) Habanero, then a mix of leafy hops and pepper heat on the finish. The heat is a little much, but you still get a sense of the beer behind it. A half pint serving would have been ideal, but managed to finish a whole pint with little difficulty. I tried to search out the base beer, but came up empty on this trip.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft pour. Aroma of hops and spice. Has a good hoppy flavor that is overwhelmed with spice. I like it, but can see how it would turn someone away. Not the most drinkable beer out there, but good overall.

Smokes coming out of my ears but Iím not complaining. My wifeís new favorite beer and I wish I could find it for her again. Hop profile of sculpin but with some intense habanero heat. Iíd like to say Iím not a wuss but Iíd have trouble with a full 12 oz and it gave me heart burn almost immediately.

Aroma is citrus and spice. Flavor is overwhelming with spiciness a little over the top and takes away from hops. Not my cup of tea.

Draft at DoG Street Pub. Lovely aroma of fresh fruits and sweet malt. Light caramel in the background as well. Taste is fruity for a few moments and slightly sweet then goes directly to peppery Habanero heat. It kind of dominates at this point. Not much else going on. Body is medium with a moderate bubbly carbonation and LOTS of lingering heat from the peppers. Ends with more peppery spices with touches of caramel, malt and fresh fruit notes. Habanero is a touch one-sided on the palate.
