Tap sample. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy white head that lasted with good lacing. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy sour citrus hoppy and roasted pepper aroma. Moderate to heavy bittersweet and hot flavor with a moderate to heavy hot and bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. Solid brew.

Cask at the GBBF 2011. Golden with a small white head. The aroma has lots green pepper and a bit of grass. The flavour is insanely hot, but actually has some interesting complexity - just too bad you canít taste it

Bottle poured a clear tarnished gold with a small lasting off white head. Aromas of straw, habanero, grapefruit and light pine. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry warming finish. Flavors of bread, grapefruit, habanero and light earthiness with a smooth dry warming finish.

Sweet rich fleshy fruit aroma. Smooth sweet palate. Powerful burn, but not totally mental. I actually quite liked it, but it is a silly gimmick.

Woh, you can smell the chili, but thereís a sour aspect to it as well. Erm, tastes of chillis. Finish is just a hot burn. Barely distinguishable from Cave Creek Chilli Beer, to be honest. However, later there is quite a lot of perfume, so it is different, not just chilli. But still is not good.

A golden amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, interesting mix of biscuit malt, floral hops, and hot pepper, nice. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with floral hops and loads of hot pepper, burning, not bad. On tap at Breukelyn Bier Merchants.

Tap at Maxís. Pours lightly hazy orange with a medium, frothy white head, short retention with good lacing. Aroma is pine, resin, and citrus hops, habenero, and cracker malt. Flavor is spicy peppers, heavy hops and bitterness, supporting malt and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Draft, July 5, 2014. Pours a clear amber color with a thin creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of spicy peppers, pale malt, citrus hops. The taste is citrus and tropical hops with habanero in the finish. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, high heat.

GABF. Pours a hazy orange appearance with an off white head. Citrusy, grapefruity, a bit piney, slightly peppery aroma. Juicy citrusy, rich grapefruity flavor that shows more of the pepper with a moderate burn on the finish. Honestly, this sounded like the greatest thing since sliced bread to me but the spiciness was a bit dull and didnít add what I thought it could. I would love to try it again someday, however.

On at Caponeís. Poured a golden color with a white head. Yep, thereís habanero in this one. The hoppy IPA was in the background, but this one ended in too much of a spicy burn for me to finish.
