3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pour on tap, hazy orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of thick caramel, orange peel, grapefruit notes, hints of slight pepper but not much, slight grass and pine notes as well. Taste is similar, some nice orange, grapefruit, hints of lemon, nice tropical fruit into caramel, slight pepper, then comes the heat and blows the rest of the beer out. Unfortunate, but tasty until that point.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap at the Common Table. Yellow with a white head. The aroma has a bit of pine but what really comes through is the habanero. The flavor is similar. While there may be a bit of the IPA character in there, I get a ton of hot, spicy pepper. As I drink more, the beer gets hotter and hotter. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Interesting, but the pepper was too overwhelming for me.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Drank in Denver for GABF 2012. I can see how this would get differing ratings. It is good, and it is exactly what they want it to be I think. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. Honestly, not a big pepper nose. The flavor though is initial sweep Sculpin but then a blast of heat and habenero. Lingers hot on the tongue. Cool to try.

On tap at Stone 17th. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of bell pepper, malt, some peach and grapefruit. Flavor is sweet and hot with some burning habanero, bell pepper and bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft shared on tap at Aces and Ales 2 (Las Vegas, NV). Pours an amber orange hue, very healthy glow, faint haze. Frothy whitish head stays as a filmy layer, laces ok. Aromas are more hoppy, floral and grassy, touches of citrus fruit but more gentle. Faint pepper spice. Initial is lighter end of the fold, some spice and citrusy hops mix. A lighter body with some nice peppery spice that grows in a wave. Citrusy hops die out from the front end, with some gentle bread, faint fruit. Middle is spicy, pepper driven, earthy and a touch smokey, medium to firm heat spice. Backend is spicy, dry, and gentle bready malts. The pepper element is firm, stronger, but not ovewhelming for my palate (as a pepper fan admittedly). Some nice spice lines the throat and esophagus. Finis is spice, bready, dry. Some touches of lingering floral hops. Really integrated well. The pepper seemingly kills the hops.. Or maybe itís just an older keg and the hops have faded a bit. Either way, itís a very nice beer on itís own. Nice.

1.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 1/20
Cask at GBBF 2011. Clear golden. Nice pine/apricot/citrus hop aroma; no warning of what is about to come. Luckily my fellow raters warned me, so I only took a small sip. Yet, this ruined my taste buds for several minutes. What an idiotic and offensive gimmicky beer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
draft at Coles. Orange amber pour. Lots of heat in aroma & flavor. Heat masks the bitterness almost completly. Not overbearing heat but quite substantial. drinkable

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Brouwerís Cafe, pours a hazy golden orange with a medium white head. Aroma brings out loads of habanero peppers, maybe some slight hoppy notes lingering. Flavour is extremely spicy, with loads of habanero pepper without destroying the palate. The hops are still somewhat present, but the peppers dominate. Really well done - quite the punch in the mouth without being absurdly overwhelming.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Cask at GBBF 2011. It pours golden yellow, with a thin white head. The nose is habanero chili pepper, pine and sweet resin. The taste is like chomping down on a habanero. Lots of pepper warmth that make eyes water. This is a one dimensional beer dominated by one flavour. Interesting nonetheless. Enjoyable to watch unsuspecting people taste this.
