On tap at least the brewery. Clear yellow/orange pour with an off white head. Grapefruit hop aromas. Grapefruit hop notes upfront give way too some serious heat from the habaneros. Wowzers. Good body and mouthfeel.

Pours a clear amber with a white head which dissipates quick.....aroma of earthiness.....taste is normal Sculpin intro with maltiness which turns earthy then HOT in a hurry and lingers. Not my cup of tea but canít stop drinking it.....it starts to burn deep in the throat and then travel. Quite a difference experience.

First sip was dreadful and I considered pouring it out. But the GF and I started to take a liking to it. Very spicy, only one other beer Iíve had that was more hot. This was a sipper and I certainly donít think someone could have more then one per session.

Dug this quite a bit. The habanero dominates the flavor a bit too much but a good chili IPA. Still some tropical notes but with a strong mouth burn in the finish.

UPDATED: FEB 26, 2015 Bottle from CBB. Almost clear gold, decent lacing. Awesome grapefrut aroma with a hint of green peppers. Flavour starts hoppy and zesty. Soon turns super spicy. Delicious, but two would be self-harm.

I am not a fan of too much heat but this was a wonderful drinking experience. Amber pour with an off-white head. Aroma is a quick sniff of fruity hops quickly snuffed out by the peppers. First sip was hot for me. I better take it slow. The fruity hops and the habanero peppers work great together. Made my brow sweat though, but none-the-less, a great drinking experience. So-so lacing.

I canít believe Iím the first to rate this beer! Let me start by saying if sculpin wasnít so good plain I wouldve probably rated this higher but I feel like it ruined a wonderful beer yet still decent. It smells of pine and chili pepper. Taste is a "plain" hop drowned out by the spicy pepper. The faster you drink it the hotter it is. I drank a pint in a couple minutes and about half in two gulps. Spicy and delicious but knowing how good sculpin is regularly ruined this beer for me.

On tap at the Blind Tiger during their Captain Lawrence event. Pours a hazed gold. Heat, sweet pine and toast. Sweet and hoppy. Warm and spicy, with slow heat. Very smooth and light lingering heat on the finish. This was great.

Really enjoyed this. Aroma was lightly green, some roasted peppers, definitely heat, some habanero and the underlying sculpin we all know, some juicy citrus tropical hops. Flavor is much the same, really well done, some sweet heat, not overpowering at all.
