A classic German-Style Beer, Brewed in San Diego. Our Longfin Lager has become one of the go-to beers with the team at the brewery. A solidly balanced Helles inspired Lager with a clean, slightly hoppy finish that could easily fit in at any German beer garden. We think it’s perfect for enjoying on the beach, the boat or anywhere else you can put an ice chest full of beer.

Visual: Pours light golden straw yellow with a small dissipating head, a thin layer of retention, singular steady streams.

Nose: soft farty, sweet lager malt. (lvl-3)-pungency

Attack: crisp, smooth tingly/light fizzy CO2

Mid-palate: (lvl-4-sweetness), crystal clean sweet lagered barley malt, soft bready, background subtle citrus, hint of corn

Finish: lingering sweet barley, subtle hops

Summary: Clean, sweet and straightforward with a pretty good crisp mouthfeel. Okay body but I guess this as good as a lager can get. Good quality, but not really memorable.

Can Clear light yellow with loose, white head that dissipates quickly. The aroma is light flowery hops and a bit of grass. The flavor is very lightly acidic, a bit lemony. It has the mouthfeel of a ginger ale. Carbonic acid, spritzy. Light & refreshing, suitable for lawn mowing.

Aroma of bright golden grain malt, a hint of dry pear esters and some grassy hops. Taste is light bodied with flavors of golden grain malt, some pear, low calorie white bread and a touch of grassy hops. 355 ml (12 fl.oz.) bottle. Clear, pale yellow, medium white head, low carbonation. Aroma is grainy, with some hay and grass to the nose. Mouthfeel is smooth, well carbonated with a long aftertaste. Flavour is refreshing pale lager all the way. I could easily have several of these around a bbq camp-fire with tasty food and good friends in a summer night.

On tap at 40 brews. It poured a clear golden color with a white head. The aroma was of citrus, some grass and grains. The taste was similar to the aroma with more citrus, grass, hops, bitterness, some malts and a little sweetness. Not too bad.
