wetherel (912), Carlsbad, California, USA Jul 21, 2008 On tap at Stone’s Sour Fest 2008. Cloudy red color. Nice mild cherry aroma. Some acidic bite on the tongue. Easy to drink. Very nice. doubleo (683), San Diego, California, USA Jul 21, 2008 Tap at Stone Sour Fest. Pours cloudy red with very little head. Smells of tons of sour cherries and some malts. Tastes very cherry sour of course, again with a little bit of malt and some vinegar flavor as well. Thin light body, good carbonation. Snojerk321 (907), San Diego, California, USA Jul 20, 2008 4th taster @ the Stone Sour Fest 2008. Pours a faint red color that was slightly hazed. Tons of sour cherry on the nose as well as the flavor. One of the most sour of the day. JorisPPattyn (4248), Antwerpen, Belgium Apr 24, 2008 Deep red-copper beer with a rosy head. Brett & cherry nose, quite fruity and some slightly coloured malts. Very, very tart kriek, with a good lurch of alcohol, wood, and, after all, malt. Slick, fruit-filled and slight acidburn. Very attractive sour ale. For my fellow Belgians: "Hout" is pronounced "hoet" in California, as every West-Flemish would have guessed, which is why he speaks of "choet". WeeHeavySD (1564), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA Apr 4, 2008 Tap 5th beer of PP Belgian Fest 08. This was awesome to find on tap at the fest. Pours red with a bright white ring. Huge sour cherry nose. Taste is cherry and tart as shit. Big yummy taste, very nicely soured with an odd nutty finish. As requested, to remind my drunken friend (Bartzilla liked this a lot too he gives it a 4).
