22 oz bottle. Black with a small beige head. Aroma is of lime, light coconut, coffee, cumin, and curry. Taste is of roasted malts, sweet coconut milk, light curry, coca-cola, with a nice burn in the finish.

Bottle. The look is black in color, thin tan head, and dark. The smell is coconut, curry, cocoa, lime, malt, spice, and nice. The taste is heat, spice, curry, coconut, touch of sweetness, and some burn.

It pours deep dark chocolate brown with a small amount of tan suds. Aromas of dark chocolate, caramel, curry and chiles. Nice roasty bitterness with solid caramel sweetness, some milk chocolate and earthy curry and with well tempered cayenne heat and some more chocolate and just a touch of coconut. Medium-full bodied with soft-ish carbonation. Really delicious and well balanced while maintaining complexity.

I’m not picking up all the intricacies of the caynne pepper, cumin, toasted coconut, and kaffir lime leaf, but the curry is definitely front and center.

The aroma is like an over-peppered can of V-8 juice! Peppers, spice and vegetables. Pours a solid dark dirt-brown with a tan ring and minimal lacing. The taste is multilayered and complex, but overall very peppery. Cayenne pepper dominates the flavor, but there is also a hint of sweetness provided by the coconut. A lasting "warm" aftertaste keeps the taste sensation going long after the swallow. Medium body and moderate carbonatin. Overall, who needs a spicy Bloody Mary when you’ve got this brew! Take care - little goes a long way.

shared out of a bomber. Wow intense curry in the aroma, spicy taste just terrible terrible, extreme curry flavor. Tastes like the worst Indian food you’ve ever tasted. Not good at all. Poured out after a few sips and realized it wasn’t getting any better. Gross

On tap at Yard House in Phoenix (Desert Ridge). Has a dark brown/black pour. Has a strong flavor of curry up front. Definitely spicy...I shouldn’t have ordered an entire pint, it was hefty. I didn’t get a lot of the coconut.

Bottle enjoy by 01/11/13, so we’ll say it’s "mature." First whiff of nose is of something I’ve never smelled in a beer, curry, clear as day, with cumin, both set nicely again clear caramel and hops! Pours deep brown-black with a noisy and quickly-dissolved light brown head, kinda ugly. Taste has more of the same, medium-strong but long-lasting heat (much less than last night’s ghost pepper beer from Twisted Pine!) with vibrant coconut, light cocoa powder, creeping and brightly fresh lime, roast malt, toast, and subtle caramel/chocolate. The coriander pops almost as much as the chili/coconut milk. Body between medium and full, not really any alcohol, limited carbonation. Wouldn’t have thought curry or cumin could have contributed pleasantly to a beer, but they’re excellent here, in good balance with the stouty and hoppy elements, and very drinkable. No use saving this for cooking, it’s a meal in itself! Incredible that they pulled this off.

Nose adjusted up from a 7 to a 10 because Overall doesn’t go up to 23.

Brown pour with a tan head. As much as I wanted to like this one since I love Indian food, I couldn’t do it. I appreciate what they were trying, but it tastes like bad Indian food from a mall food court in liquid form. I get a lot of cinnamon, pepper and curry notes, all ingredients that I typically like. However, in this beer, they call clash, with the heat from the cayenne really clashing with the other aspects. Medium to thick mouthfeel and medium carbonation

Draft. Dark with minimal head. Hard to get much aroma past the cigars of this place. Slight spicey. Taste is a flavor explosion. Vanilla, cinnamon, subtle spiciness in the finish. Wow. Spiciness continues to grow. By the end if the glass I likely won't be happy but this is damn good. Definitely spicey as I finished. ---Rated via intercellular device
