3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
22oz bottle in a tumbler. Pours very dark brown with a small head. Aroma of a curry dish with the lime leaves, cayenne, and coconut standing out over the roasted malts and floral hops. The flavor of this beer is crazy. Average texture. A very interesting beer, but not for me.

Good lord what a crazy brew. I ordered not knowing what it was. It took me awhile before I figured out it was curry and the all I could think of was this Thai Green Curry dish I always order for take out. In fact if I get drunk and then by mistake spill whatever stout im drinking into my food and then instead of discarding slurp up juices then that is this beer. really interesting and fun, slick finish with heat hitting hard in after taste.

25-JAN-2012, bottle @Papsø tasting, @Yespr.
Dark, dark brown , almost black with low tan head.
Aroma is curry and a little roast. The curry is the sort of cheap supermarket curry.
Taste is roast, curry, spice, coco nut, and a strong chili burn.
Very funny. Actually quite complex. Curry in a beer? Nah, does not work for me - too much, and I keep searching for a bowl of rice.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sample from 65 cl. bottle. Pitch black with a thin, tan head. Very spicy aroma with lots of curry, pepper, limes, vanilla and coconut. Roasted malts. Taste is sweet. Medium body, soft carbonation. Finishes lightly bitter and spicy with the entire menu from an Indian restaurant. Butter chicken and papadams, anyone?

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
650 ml bottle.
Pours a black colour with a white head. Aroma is very, very strong with pepper, cumin, lemon, coconut and curry. Flavour of roasted malts, strong spices such as pepper, cumin, curry, rice and bread. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and a long, warming, quite spicy and burning finish. Probably the spiciest beer I’ve tasted in a while.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
65 cl bottle @ olio, enjoy by 01/02/2013
Aroma is rather intensive with spices – feels exactly like an indian shop or restaurant. Curry chicken and nothing else. Flavour has curry chicken and finishes with slightly burning chili and cayenne. Quite unique, looks like a stout but no signs of roastiness whatsoever. A liquid version of Indian curry chicken. Really slow beer, probably would take a two-hour Bollywood movie to finish the whole bottle.
