High 5 to the creator of this brew. I havenít rated a beer in over 4 months and this one brought me out of retirement. Crafted really well. Super complex with all kinds of interesting flavors. I really enjoyed this and look forward to sharing this with a few of my craft beer friends. Itís a first of itís kind and I agree itís a bit much like previous raters have said. But that doesnít make it uninjoyable. It has itís place. Right now that place is in a couple of bottles marked for special friends who appreciate wierd "out there" creations. This qualifies. And congrats to the crafter.

taster at brewery. Looks almost black. Tan tiny head. Smells good and stouty with a bit of dirty vanilla. Tastes a typical stout at first as dark and slightly creamy then the flavors explode across the palate with dark vanilla and caramel then some hot flavors from the cayenne and curry. A complex special beer. Overall 7.5 of 10.

Bottle from a cool guy that worked at Ballast Point. This beer is very interesting. Its unlike anything g Iíve had before. So many different tastes coming together. Lots of lime in the aroma. The spices really come in the after taste. It was good but interesting, not something I could drink alot.

Bottle at Musa, Aberdeen. It pours opaque black, with a thin bubbly tan head. The nose is fresh coconut, chilli pepper, lots of spice (especially cumin), permanent marker pen and roasted malt. The taste is roasted malt, tar, chilli pepper, coconut, bitter chocolate, cumin, tar, lots of spice, citrus pith and caramel, with a big bitter finish and lingering chilli pepper warmth. Full body, moderate carbonation and surprisingly well balanced. Interesting stuff, but I couldnít drink a lot of it.

Tap. Pours a pitch black color with a tan head. Aroma is of roasted malt chocolate, curry, kafir lime and lots of spice. The flavor again is filled with curry notes, with the kafir lime, spice, some chocolate and roasted malt, dark fruits and some subtle coffee. The body is medium with a creamy mouth feel. Overall a really interesting and different brew, I like it!

11 aug 2002, tap at the brewery. Dark brown, almost black. Wow, nose is awesome! Curry and coconut. Thin body and faintly fizzy. Flavors flip back and forth between curry and toasted coconut. Some dark chocolate becomes prominent after you get over the unique flavored. Pretty fun. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On draft at city beer san francisco. Pours almost black with a thick tan head slowly receding leaving lots of lacing. Aroma of lime and coconut. Complex and interesting mix of chocolate, lime, coconut and spices giving way to a fiery finish.

Drank in Denver for GABF 2012. Another unique brew, that is probably love it or hate it. Pours a murky brown color. The aroma is awesome bouquets of coconut, curry. The flavor has all of the curry you want with lime, coconut, spices. Very smooth and very good. Works perfectly.

On draft at The Pony Bar. A really interesting brew that tastes like an Indian snack - the most Indian tasting brew I have ever hard. Lots of hot pepper, cumin, nuts, and coriander, plus a dash of coconut.

22oz bottle. Rating #133. Dark brown, very dense, not much light shining through. Big spice notes throughout this beer, curry was a big part of it, but it didnít take over the beer. Very tasty overall, everyone that tried was trying figure out where there was a good Indian restaurant close by. (2558)
