Bottle. Deep dark brown pour, thin tan head. Wow this beer is interesting, and the flavors actually come together rather well. Curry, lime, coconut, sweet chocolate, cumin, and a small amount of the dark malts noticeable. Very spicy, but like an Indian meal in the glass. Each flavor is distinct.

Bottle. Pours a very dark brown and thick with very little head. Nose has a lot of roasted flavors with some of the spices coming through. The coconut really comes through in the taste, which is a flavor Iím not a fan of. Really interesting stout.

This was a unique brew - thanks for sharing OmegaX. This is obviously a stout, and poured thicker than most of itís style. It smelled like seasoned salt, peppers and lime. The taste was roasty, had some nice chocolate and coconut flavors, and finished with a nice curry spiciness. In a good way, the ABV seems higher, but itís just the complex warmth you get in the finish.

11/29/12 notes: bottle, $6.99. Pour is brown black, semi-viscous with a small white head. Aroma of mint, chipotle, dark chocolate. Body is creamy, mild carbonation, sticky but not too long. The salient flavor is mint, asian herbs initially- perhaps because of how unusual this flavor profile is. This is rounded by more traditional mocha and kilned malts, with a hit of peppery spice (I could see curry here if told) near the finish. Pretty well-rounded and unique creation, more effective than Stoneís mint chocolate porter, of which I draw intuitive comparisons. Score is only hampered by my belief that herbs and dark ales just donít make natural complements.

Dark brown/black color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of sweet malt, cocoa, coconut, rich spice, & vanilla; Flavor of slight roasted sweet malt, chili peppers, curry, chocolate, and citrus (notably lime); Finish is quite hot; Interesting brew - but can be a bit much at times.

Bottle. Pours a very dark brown with a small soda-like light brown head. The aroma is by far the strangest Iíve ever experienced with any beer. The lime is what stands out most, with coconut, curry, and a light background of roasted malt. Taste is equally bizarre, starts off rather stout-like, but quickly changes, more lime and coconut, and stronger curry flavors, lots of coriander and cumin, taste is relatively sweet overall. Finish is very spicy, almost enough to make me sweat, but that seems almost necessary. Light to medium body, soft carbonation. This is by far the strangest beer Iíve ever had. That being said itís pretty good.

Botella. Deep dark brown colour. Spiced curry peppery roasty malty chocolate coconutty aroma, strange, but nice. Good mouthfeel. Flavour is spicy with curry and pepper, coconut and chocolate along with roasty malt and chilli spiciness.
