3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
High 5 to the creator of this brew. I havenít rated a beer in over 4 months and this one brought me out of retirement. Crafted really well. Super complex with all kinds of interesting flavors. I really enjoyed this and look forward to sharing this with a few of my craft beer friends. Itís a first of itís kind and I agree itís a bit much like previous raters have said. But that doesnít make it uninjoyable. It has itís place. Right now that place is in a couple of bottles marked for special friends who appreciate wierd "out there" creations. This qualifies. And congrats to the crafter.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
22 oz bottle shared by Debbie at Ale Alpharetta. Pours black, with a filmy tan head. The aroma is vanilla, curry spices, chocolate, cayenne pepper, and just a touch of citrus. The flavor is sweet up front, with a growing, fairly intense spicy warmth. The burn sticks around for quite a while, but didnít completely ruin my palate. Heavy body, a little oily, with a clean finish. Overall, this is a wonderfully complex, spicy, and flavorful beer. Iíve had my fair share of spicy stouts, but this one stands out.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
22 ounce bottle. Served in a Great Lakes Brewing goblet, the beer pours dark brown/black with an inch tan head that fizzled away pretty quickly. There isnít much lacing at all. The brew smells mostly like cumin, curry, and cayenne, along with a bit of coconut. The spices overpower pretty much everything else thatís in the aroma. The spices are strong in the flavor of this beer too, but I can also taste some lime, chocolate, and vanilla. Mouthfeel/body is medium, itís coating and smooth with a low/moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this brew, too bad I only bought one bomber because if I had another one Iíd probably drink it now! Recommended if you like spicier food/beer. $9.35 a bomber.

2.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
The nose is about as complex as they come. Smells of a stout but with the clear scent of cayenne and curry. Starts with a hint of coconut and lime before the overwhelming flavor of cayenne kicks in. It?s a bit hard to power through but as it warms up it?s a been more palatable.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at Dutchís. Pours a dark cola brown color with a small beige head that disappeared quickly. The aroma has big curry and cumin spices and a hint ofchocolate. The flavor has the cumin and curry from the nose with a nice peppery burn. Some roasted notes although I am not getting the coconut. Light lime citrus late. Interesting brew for sure, though I can see some people not liking this.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Black with a thick tan head which quickly dissipates. Aroma is bourbon, vanilla and a bit of Indian spices. Curry is especially noticeable. Flavor is roasted malt a bit of sweet vanilla and madras curry. Curry is actually more earthy than spicy, but the cayenne kicks in at the end. Spice leaves an interesting impression, but itís not overpowering. If you like spicy food and stouts, youíll probably enjoy this.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours a clear dark brown, almost black body with a small fizzy light brown head that vanished quickly. The nose is spicy and hoppy with some dark roastiness. The mixture of aromas almost reminds me of a mesquite meat rub for some reason. Maybe even a touch of cedar. I think itís the combo of coconut, curry, and lime that combine for the weirdness. The flavor is an amazingly weird amalgam of cayenne, coconut, kaffir lime, and roasted malt. Tastes like a plate of Thai food in a glass. Not even sure I like it all, but it sure is interesting. Medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation and a long finish of cayenne and coconut. Meh, canít dig this guy too much.

1.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Draft. Jesus what did i order? Tastes like cumin, hot peppers and limes. Its very odd, pretty spicy beer. Black color, tan head, no alcohol noted... But how could anything be noted with the large amount of spices. This reminded me of indian food, which i like. The difference is indian food is food, not beer. Pretty disgusting really. I grow habaneros, and the spice on this was offending. Not good,

On tap. Smells of curry. Taste of slight chocolate and the curry adds good warmth to it. If this beer is to spicy for you please turn in your man card.

Bottle. This beer smells like a delicious curry with some roasted malts thrown into the mix. You have to be in the mood for it - but this is a great beer.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Huge aroma of curry and noodles. Very little head, with zilcho feathering. Very strong curry flavor, which lasts about ten seconds. Followed after by a burning sensation in your throat and mouth. Excellent, but definitely strange. I feel like I'm eating some excellent Indian food when drinking this beer.
