A: The beer pours a clear golden straw color with a finger of white head.
S: Some sweet malt and corn with a strong aroma of grass and straw. A light banana and apple ester quality to it with some hints of yeast.
T: The beer is somewhat sweet with corn and biscuit malt flavors. The hop character is light, though there is a bit of bitterness to it. A light grass flavor and maybe some fruity esters.
M: The body is light with a medium carbonation.
O: Pretty simple light lager, but not really my favorite.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 hivemind (426) - New York, New York, USA - SEP 12, 2011
On tap at Ballast Point (Old Grove) with Andy, James and Dallas for Dallas’ bachelor weekend. See-through, pale golden pour with a weak, white head. Generic and boring, although easy to drink and not at all offensive. I could see drinking this outside on a hot day, but not at a bar.

I am on a lighter beer kick and am amazed at the low scores for these beers. This is a really nice helles. Strong flavor and simple. No bells and whistles just a lager to drink whilst watching the game. Another winner from BP.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Thorpe429 (3823) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - NOV 30, 2010
Pours a light yellow with a pretty good white head. Smell is a little bit of grain and grassiness; not the best overall, but for its style pretty good. Pretty light flavor, not surpassing most others of the style as the nose did. Mouthfeel was light and crisp, and drinkability was nice. Overall, very nice for its style, but still lacking in too many departments to justify a higher score than this.
