COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A classic German-Style Beer, Brewed in San Diego. Our Longfin Lager has become one of the go-to beers with the team at the brewery. A solidly balanced Helles inspired Lager with a clean, slightly hoppy finish that could easily fit in at any German beer garden. We think it’s perfect for enjoying on the beach, the boat or anywhere else you can put an ice chest full of beer.

Right away I get that grainy aroma I get from most lagers. This brew is super clear and super blonde with no real head. It's taste is grainy with slight sweetness and a very light bitterness. The body is slightly heavy for a lager in my opinion but it is a very decent brew.

Looks and smells fine but that's all. Grainy flavor. Far too sweet. Palate is heavy viscous. Not good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pour out of bottle at Northern Lights Rare Beer Fest, clear golden pour with white head, aroma brought notes of biscuit, mineral, vanilla into a bit of cracker, slight grassy, spicy notes in there. Taste was a mix of biscuit, bread, some slight grass, spice into a bit of minerals, finishing slightly dry, slightly bitter.

[2/20/15] Draught at Ballast Point Old Grove in San Diego. Clear yellow. Aroma of graininess, lager yeast and a grassy hop note. Sweetish flavor with bready and slightly honey-ish malt. Graininess and a mild grassy hops bitterness. Rather light-bodied.

Easy drinking but lacking in character. Leaning toward the malty side without getting too sweet. Ultimately a tad disappointing.

330 ml bottle. Smell just slightly better than a lager from the supermarket, maybe lagers aren’t supposed to smell good anyway. Appearance is a very light yellow with a thin white head (with a good pattern, not weird). A citric taste way better than a lager from the supermarket now, the same with the afterdrink sensation; it wasn’t heavy, it was soft. Decent summerday beachouse beer.

Straw yellow, thin spongy head. Smell is dough, yeast. Taste is savory cracker, wheat. Very smooth. Simple lagers are underrated and I think this stands up well.
