A classic German-Style Beer, Brewed in San Diego. Our Longfin Lager has become one of the go-to beers with the team at the brewery. A solidly balanced Helles inspired Lager with a clean, slightly hoppy finish that could easily fit in at any German beer garden. We think it’s perfect for enjoying on the beach, the boat or anywhere else you can put an ice chest full of beer.

Undated, recently purchased, 12 oz bottle served in a lager glass. Pours very light with a generous white head and lots of visible carbonation. The carbonation is medium-high and surprisingly soft. Light body. They must use a similar hop load to Heineken because it has a similar flavor profile, including a hint of skunk in the aroma and aftertaste. O: Aside from the feel, this is a remarkably average lager. Served its purpose, nonetheless. being thirst-quenching and refreshing on this first hot day of summer.

Aroma is malts, very beery and a hint of hops. The flavor is pale/slightly sweet malts, a mild hint of fruit and a mix of beery and tart in the finish.

355ml bottle from The Beer Cellar. Who doesn’t love a good IPA in a great looking can. Head quickly settles above a hazy amber beer that puts put lots of hoppy resinous aromas that leave you anticipating the first sip. Full bodied and full in the mouth with a long smooth finish.

12oz can courtesy of Shane. Thanks! A: Pale straw color with a 1/2 inch of fluffy white head. Semi transparent and reminiscent of lighter beers. N: Good mixture of some light lemon, grass, pale malt, and a touch of grapefruit and pine from the hops. Some light banana and green peppercorn. It has an appreciable sensation that works well for its style. Flavors are light and delicate. T: A strong sense of hop bitterness followed up by a zesty pepper. The malt is the third tier here which I quite enjoy. M: Easy sipper. Well within style. O: I’m seeing a lot of low scores from what I assume are non-fresh bottles shipped across the country. I think the cans will mitigate this issue because this is a solid, refreshing beer with a touch of hops and spice to make it worth enjoying. Buy it fresh and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Skip it. In my opinion craft beer was supposed to free us from that yellow fizzy crap, which this is. Smell, taste, and appearance were all similar to the mass produced lagers out there.

8 ounce sample at Davis Beer Shoppe. The aroma has a really good grassy character with some cereal malt sweetness. Transparent golden body with a medium, strong white head. Good lacing. Starts with some metallic flavors, before some grassiness comes through in the middle. Finishes with lots of cracker and paperiness. Definitely strong on the craacker. Light astringency in the middle.

Pours a light yellow with white head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is faint cereal. Palate is light with malty sweetness and lingering bitter aftertaste. Very drinkable but not worth $2/btl in a six in MA.

Bottle pours clear straw color with thin white brief head. Aroma skunky. Light taste of sweet malts with what seems like corn flavor. Watery palate but a nice crisp tingle. Brief finish, very slightly bitter. Not much to it but I guess you could drink a few with no problem.

Golden with thin white head. Mild floral, mild helles skunk, and lite lemon notes. Full bodied lager, nice balance front to back, decent hop zest, tongue tingler. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle - Total Wine strikes again, as I didn’t check the enjoy by date--shame on me. Turns out this expired nearly 2 months ago. Pours lightly hazy yellow with a foamy white head. Nose is skunky, with corn and honey sweetness. Taste is mineral, skunky floral hops, and honeyed pale malt. Thinnish with bubbly carbonation.
