A classic German-Style Beer, Brewed in San Diego. Our Longfin Lager has become one of the go-to beers with the team at the brewery. A solidly balanced Helles inspired Lager with a clean, slightly hoppy finish that could easily fit in at any German beer garden. We think it’s perfect for enjoying on the beach, the boat or anywhere else you can put an ice chest full of beer.

Bottle from Beverages 4 Less in Santee, CA. Pours pale gold with a cream/fizzy white head. Aroma of dusty malt - hop? Med minus body. Pale malt flavor. Something demi-sour for hop? Comes over more like a wheat ale than a lager. It is malty. But a Dortmunder?

Bottle. Pours crisp golden yellow, with maybe a hint of pale orange in the hue, or is that my florescent kitchen light? Foam is a thin, fizzy, fast dissolving white shmiz. Aromas are of honey, grass, corn, and pale grains, touched maybe with a hint of lemony sweetness. Flavor is actually pretty full for a lager/helles. A nice up-front hit of sweet corn/wheat malt, followed by the mildest hint of helles funk, though certainly nothing out of hand, before a warm and fizzy sweet finish. Very clean, and one of the few lagers I’ve had recently that didn’t feel like a guilty pleasure. Nice stuff. Not great, and not something I’d like to BP do a ton more of, but worth the dime on a six pack now and then.

Draught at the Four Points LAX. Medium to light gold, low head. Bready, malty aroma with low hop content. Enough hop flavor and bitterness to balance but not much more than that. Bready, malty flavor is nice, but uninteresting.

A: The beer pours a clear golden straw color with a finger of white head. S: Some sweet malt and corn with a strong aroma of grass and straw. A light banana and apple ester quality to it with some hints of yeast. T: The beer is somewhat sweet with corn and biscuit malt flavors. The hop character is light, though there is a bit of bitterness to it. A light grass flavor and maybe some fruity esters. M: The body is light with a medium carbonation. O: Pretty simple light lager, but not really my favorite.

Pours crystal clear deep yellow with a rocky white head. Aroma is bready and slightly metallic. Malt and bread flavors are forward with grassy noble twang. Finishes cleanly with a slight bitter rise at the end.

On tap at Ballast Point (Old Grove) with Andy, James and Dallas for Dallas’ bachelor weekend. See-through, pale golden pour with a weak, white head. Generic and boring, although easy to drink and not at all offensive. I could see drinking this outside on a hot day, but not at a bar.

On tap at the brewery with the bros for dallas’ bachelor party. Fresh lager with grainy presence. Delicious lager, but too basic for my liking.
