Dec 2, 2008 Pours like a pilsner from the tap at the brewery. Mildly skunky in aroma with notes of carb apple and possibly pineapple in the flavor. Not bad.

Aug 31, 2008 Draft at the brewery. Pours a clear gold color, with a small light white head. Smells of some wet grains, light subtle hops, and a bit of malt. Smells like a lager. The flavor was crisp and simple. Had a small citrus and hop presence mixed, with a grainy undertone. Crisp, clean and easy to drink is really all I can say about it. Boring beer, for a boring style, but it drank ok.

Aug 17, 2008 On tap @ brewery, RBSG. Clear straw color, thin broken white head. Slight wet grain cast to the aroma, otherwise clean. Pretty straightforward malt character with a mildly bitter finish.

Aug 15, 2008 On tap @ Ballast Point brewing/brew mart. Poured as a light straw golden color with a minor sized head. The nose was mild and weak with small hints of grass or grain. Flavor was plain and bland with no real strong points besides it was a crisp lager with puny grained malt.

Aug 10, 2008 On tap at the brewery for RBSG 08. Pours gold. Very malty aroma. Taste is quite sharp, with a lot of malt. Lingering bitter malt flavors. Nice carbonation. Decent beer.
