Poured a brownish red color with a small, light tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malts, nuts, caramel, cocoa, toast, and toffee. Taste of caramel malts, nuts, toast, roast, smoke, chocolate, dark fruits, and a bit of alcohol.

On tap at Stone. Pours with a creamy tan head over a hazed brown body that leaves good lace. Aroma of banana, chocolate, smoke, tobacco, and grain. Taste is smokey, with toffee, chocolate and a rich, creamy alcohol decadence. Something that reminds me of oatmeal-raisin cookies. Creamy and thick mouthfeel. Warming for 8%, but that is on an empty stomach.

On Tap at stone. Brown/red pour, small thin head. Sweet malt, caramel, brown sugar, dark fruit, and some earthy flavor. It’s a good beer for what it is, I just dont like it very much.

On tap at Old Grove location. Color was reddish brown; not head at all. Aroma of smoked malt, dark fruit, peat, yeast. Flavor was very roasted, dark fruit, smoke, caramel and yeast. Solid, but not a great flavor to this one.

Tap at Old Grove. Brown color with white head. Tastes sweet with malt flavors, not much hops. Starts off sweet and warm, but dissipates quickly.
