Draft… Clear dark lager with crimson flashes when held up to light. Small, short-lived, off-white head. The aroma consists of caramel, cocoa and dark fruits. Full-bodied with tingly carbonation. The flavor offers caramel, candied tree nuts and a measured splash of vinous port wine. Finishes bittersweet and caramely. Malts are featured here, as they should be, but a modest hop bill does provide a nice buffer without distraction.
