On my new "try as many pilseners as possible" quest, I found this on tap at PP Carlsbad. Poured by my friend, Sean. Light yellow color, small white head, fading fast. Aroma is a small amount of yeastiness, I yearn for more. Saaz are muted as well, but I suppose that is a good thing. Easy to drink, which is bringing up my ratings lately after trying far too many undrinkable 11% alcobombs. A pleasure.

Nov 28, 2008 Tap at the tasting room. Sweet grassy/herbal hoppy aroma. Very fresh saaz-loaded flavour with a nice soft fresh bitterness. Very clean malt base with a fresh soft herbal character. A nice czech-style pils.

Aug 29, 2008 On tap at Ballast Point during the RBSG Pub Crawl Tour on 08/01/2008. Clear golden body with a medium creamy white head. Grassy honey aroma. Grassy honey flavor, hints of saaz. Medium light body with moderately high carbonation.

Aug 25, 2008 On-tap at the Carroll Canyon location. Pours clear, golden yellow with a thin, crisp white head, specks of lace. Smells crisp and malty with a nice, crisp earthy hop presence. Tastes crisp and slightly malty and sweet with a nice, green, hop bitterness, Thin body, crisp carbonation.

Aug 20, 2008 Draft… <b>RBSG ’08</b>… Clear, straw-colored lager with a small, creamy, white head and everlasting retention. Terrific lacework. Grainy, spicy hop aroma with a touch of honey. Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and kicked-back carbonation. Brewed to style with moderate honey sweetness and medium bitterness provided by sharp, spicy hops. Lengthy, bitter finish.
