This beer started out as a light German-style ale. Before it had a chance to adhere to the Reinheitsgebot, James stole 15 gallons and dry hopped it with a healthy dose of Amarillo hops (blasphemy). The result is a really nice, easy drinking, crisp brew with the proper amount of hops to make it worth your drive up here. Even though he would be arrested in Germany for such an offense, here we celebrate his creativity and toast to his, and our, refreshment. Don’t miss out!

Nitro at Linda Vista. Pours a cascading deep gold with a creamy white head. Faint hops in the nose with a heavy dose of grain. Velvety smooth on the palate.

On cask at brewery. Light yellow with a fluffy white head. Good strong hoppy aroma with a nice crisp citrus taste and a slightly dry finish. Decent.
