COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Grapefruit Sculpin is the latest take on our signature IPA. Some may say there are few ways to improve Sculpin’s unique flavor, but the tart freshness of grapefruit perfectly complements our IPA’s citrusy hop character. Grapefruit’s a winter fruit, but this easy-drinking ale tastes like summer.

Golden with a white head - Hop aroma with some hints of grapefruit - Malt to support a good hop profile that has some grapefruits and other citus and there is some other fruity tones as well - The hops goes into the finish with some grapefruit and other fruits and ends dry - This was good

Alla spina. Limpido color aranciato, schiuma fine e soffice. Profumatissima, assale il naso con pompelmo rosa, fiori, caramello e tantissimo luppolo; gusto perfettamente bilanciato tra amaro e fruttato con note maltate, agrumate e resinose. Finale lungo, pulito e persistente. Giù il cappello!

Intense grapefruit, really not much else. Clear gold, small, creamy, white head. Medium bitter. Bittersweet grapefruit continues, bitterness intensifies, sour orange, yet very fruity sweetness remains, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Beautiful IIPA, very dominating grapefruit throughout. Keg at Republic, Minneapolis.

33cl bottle. Cloudy light golden with medium and lasting head. Aroma of the beer is more or less typical for a regular IPA but with more dry and zest side to it. It doesn’t smell any fermentation or alcohol ...more like a lemonade with strong tropical fruit and citrus juice. The beer is creamy and soft but quite thin body. Carbonation is delicate. The taste is overall dry and bitter but there is a good juicy malt background. Everything holds together : bitterness is really like a grapefruit peel but doesn’t last. Clean and fruity. A reference.

Half growler. Pours mostly clear orange-amber with a thin film of bubbles. Nose of grapefruit, toffee, green herb and resin. Taste is the same mix but with a bigger presence from the grapefruit and resin. Long finish has some minty-wooden hop and toast. Medium body has medium carbonation and a definite dry slant.

Clear light orange-golden color with foam ring. Insanely intense grapefruit nose with tiny sweetness. The taste is mild with a fine carbonation and fruit notes from citrus orange and most of all insanely intense grapefruit. Perfectly balanced bitterness. Sweet, yet bitter and most of all super pleasant aftertaste. This beer is incredible awesome (if fresh).

BO date of April 19. Poured from a 12 oz can into a large wine glass. Grapefruit all the way in the aroma. Fluffy, thin white head. Refreshing tart grapefruit flavor dominates.

Shared bottle at Mi2 at Cardinal 15.08.16. Clear golden. White head. Aroma and taste of a good American IPA, with citrus, marmalade, tropical fruits, pale malt and a hint of pine shoots. Grapefruit is not evident as such.
