Bottle. Pours a transparent golden with a nice looking layer of off white head and some nice lacing. Aroma of citrus and hops. The citrus in the aroma is very interesting. Taste is classic sculpin with a nice added lasting bitterness from the grapefruit.

Pours orange with a small light beige head. Smells of grapefruit and other citrus. Taste is bold grapefruit, hints of bitterness. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and soft mouth-carbonation, Ballast Point Grapefruit Sculpin finishes with a hint of grapefruit tart bitterness.

bottle pour date stamp is a bit hard to read but I believe this was bottled about two weeks ago 15-008 seems to be the date mark..pours a light to medium orange hue with about 1/2 finger head..nose is off the charts fresh squeezed juice/citrus with a hint of tang aroma, however in a good way..the nose is a fruit bomb..mouthfeel is intense with an initial blast of that grapefruit wave that mellows nicely with the hop profile..slightly grassy..the addition of the fruit is an excellent addition to an already great base of the sculpin..finishes smooth with a pleasant lingering coating of citrus goodness..stellar.

Awesome. Grapefruit rind blends so perfectly with the malt and hops. The grapefruit here gives just that little bit of extra cut, it manages to clench the buttocks - the cellulitic flabby arse - of the original beer just enough to allow the rippling musculature of the hop bill to stand a good 2 inches taller. The palate is great: slightly thinner and astringent at first, yet as the beer warms it mellows and softens without becoming flabby. Not that it has much chance of sitting for very long in MY glass.

Pours a light clear orange color with tiny white head. Aroma is grapefruit right in the face. Sour aroma and hops. The taste is so good. It’s exactly what you’d think it would taste like. A fresh squeezed grapefruit carefully balanced with hops and a very light malt backbone. The finish is bitter, it reminds me of the white skin on a grapefruit. Overall just a really, really solid beer.

Clear golden pour with a soapy white head and light sticky lacing..... Aroma of fresh grapefruit juice and very tropical with citrusy hop and very light pine ... Definitely a unique aroma .... Taste is of rindy grapefruit and citrusy orange, mango like and tropical fruits ... Very juicy and fruity and a slight bitter piney and rindy edge that is missing from the aroma .... This is all about the fruity flavor has some ibu bite to it.... Mouthfeel is a little slick and oily .... Awesome job
