Our Grapefruit Sculpin is the latest take on our signature IPA. Some may say there are few ways to improve Sculpin’s unique flavor, but the tart freshness of grapefruit perfectly complements our IPA’s citrusy hop character. Grapefruit’s a winter fruit, but this easy-drinking ale tastes like summer.

Can. Golden body with a big, frothy, white head. Aroma of grapefruit rind and juice, lemon, toasted grain, dough. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, velvety/watery texture, lively carbonation. A citrus-leaning IPA with grapefruit juice — an OK balance of it, too. Light astringent bitterness in the finish pops up every few sips.

355ml bottle pours a golden orange color with a 2 finger white head that settles to reveal some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is pink grapefruit with some other citrus and caramel notes. Taste is a citrus hop and grapefruit bitterness with a light caramel malty sweetness. Light to medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, a very good IPA that it sure to satisfy any hop lover’s needs.

Light golden pour, huge white head with great lacing. Grapefruit aroma, grass, grapefruit. Grapefruit taste, light bread, hop bite not as strong as regular Sculpin. Really smooth, refreshing. Definitely a hop head’s idea of a fruit beer.

From Bottle. Pours a beautiful golden amber. the nose is of citrus hops, resin, and grapefruit. The start is of bold and harmonious citrus and grapefruit and hop, followed by more hop and grapefruit. With a little bitter yet clean finish, I have yet to find a hop forward IPA that equals this on a warm summer day.

Bottle. Grapefruit overload, lots of tropical fruits and some caramel. Lovely, aggressive bitterness and a long-lasting bitter finish. Awesome!

Hazy amber/orange color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of floral hops, pine, & nice citrus; Flavor of slight sweet malt, pine hops, caramel, and citrus (notably pink grapefruit); Finish is fairly bitter; Nicely balanced; Good - definitely fruitier than the regular version.

Bouteille 355ml.

12 Fl. Oz. Can. Poured clear, orange; with a nice foamy head, minimal spotty lacing. Aroma of citrus fruit (obviously some grapefruit), pine/resin hoppy notes and some hints of malts. Perfectly balanced hops/malts, citrus notes all over. Very good IPA, one of the best I’ve tried.

A muted aroma of grapefruit, citrus and hops. Pours a clear caramel color with a short lasting white head. Smooth taste of grapefruit with a hint of hops. Slightly oily medium body feel with a mild hop finish. A sessionable brew.

Not sure how I didn’t rate this one yet as I drink it all the time. Delicious. Refreshing. Perfectly balanced. Grapefruit infusion isn’t overpowering or offensive whatsoever. A+++
