Our Grapefruit Sculpin is the latest take on our signature IPA. Some may say there are few ways to improve Sculpin’s unique flavor, but the tart freshness of grapefruit perfectly complements our IPA’s citrusy hop character. Grapefruit’s a winter fruit, but this easy-drinking ale tastes like summer.

From QC. Clear honey-amber with pour. White bubbly head. Massive thick cobwebby legs. Smells of very strong grapefruit, pomelo - juicy, not at all artificial. Pith and floral hop. Faint bready malt that's slightly lemony and spicy. Taste is similar, with more oily hop and less grapefruit. Fruit and slight malt give the bitter IPA a sweet edge. Body is oily. Very drinkable, 7% ABV well hidden, grapefruit flavour is huge. Would get again.

Can. Pours with an orange tint into a big white pillowy head. Nice resiny hop notes on the nose. Fairly solid grapefruit notes on the tongue round out the big, leafy hop notes on the tongue. Finish clean. I wish I could try this on tap but it’s still pretty solid as it is.

I poured it from the bottle into a pint glass. It pours a copper with a nice white head and some lacing. The aroma is really nice. It’s lots of fresh grapefruit and hops. The taste is the same with hints of earth and biscuit. Everything tastes really natural and fresh here. The subtle sweetness of the grapefruit pairs very well with the hop bitterness. These guys are on point with the IPAs. This lives up to the hype.

It looks good, it smells good, it even tastes great. A wonderful grapefruit aroma and taste that is so well done that it could be chugged. Then there is the down side... The price tag. Seriously! While a good brew it is, there are others out there that are just as good but for half the price. Only reason I am enjoying this is because the date was about to expire and it was on clearance for half price. Only got one six pack but now wish I had picked up a few more while that limited supply lasted. Maybe next time.

Excellent well balanced IPA with just enough grapefruit to set it apart. Not ultra fruity or ultra hoppy. Just a fantastic IPA,
