Nice cloudy glowing orange pour with a tight off white head. Sweet aroma- citrusy resins with some butterscotch sweetness and a cookie-like-malt note. Light feel with a fairly sweet flavor. Some subtle butterscotch gives way to later piny citruses and a late dry/resiny finish. Decent IPA, could be better with less sweetness. DA (2425), Portland, Oregon City, Oregon, USA Aug 13, 2008 RBSG 2008, from the bottle at the brewery. Pours gold with a smooth white head and thick lacing down the glass. Floral pine hop nose, soft citrus notes, but the pine took over. Very nice balance with a fruity caramel malt base and the earthy pine hop finish, soft tropical fruit notes find their way into the finish.
