Bottle from Dirty Martini. Pours a clear gold with a decent white head. Huge aroma in the nose with lemon, grass and pine. Flavor is quite bitter and clean. A bit of lemony tinge. Fairly light body, but it works very well with this brew.

Sep 8, 2008 Hazy golden colour with a white head. Hoppy, piney and light fruity aroma with malty sweet notes. Very hoppy, piney bitter flavor with fruity notes.

Light unclear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lancing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, pine, orange, fruity - tropic ala peach - mango - lemon. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long to average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (190608)

Aug 29, 2008 Bottle at Ballast Point during the RBSG Pub Crawl Tour on 08/01/2008. Clear golden body with a large frothy off-white head. Big spicy hop aroma. Huge spicy hop flavor with light caramel. Medium body with medium carbonation.

Aug 14, 2008 Bottle: (Thanks puzzl!) Nice cloudy glowing orange pour with a tight off white head. Sweet aroma- citrusy resins with some butterscotch sweetness and a cookie-like-malt note. Light feel with a fairly sweet flavor. Some subtle butterscotch gives way to later piny citruses and a late dry/resiny finish. Decent IPA, could be better with less sweetness.

Aug 13, 2008 RBSG 2008, from the bottle at the brewery. Pours gold with a smooth white head and thick lacing down the glass. Floral pine hop nose, soft citrus notes, but the pine took over. Very nice balance with a fruity caramel malt base and the earthy pine hop finish, soft tropical fruit notes find their way into the finish.
