3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from CASK Pub & Kitchen earlier this year. Pours a clear amber, with a medium off white head. Grassy, piney, quite tropical, basically a tropical fruit punch with a bitter kick and slight heat at the finish

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap at the Good Dog in Philly. Hazy orange amber pour supporting a long lasting pillowy white head. Grapefruits strive to smell as fresh as this. Huge citrus flavor with touches of lemon zest, toffee, milk chocolate and toasted sesame oil. Perfectly balanced on healthy malt rails. Smooth texture and a citrusy, piney, bitter, dry, snappy finish. Amazing brew.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: MAY 19, 2013 650ml bottle. No date. I hope it is fresh.
It pours a lightish gold with a frothy white head. There is some decent lacing as it recedes.
The smell is nicely hopped. It is mostly pineapple and generic like smarties or something.
The flavor is really nice. It tastes like it gets way too much hype though. It has a clear cut bitterness which is great but it is the support act that isn’t as great as I was hoping. There is some tropical fruit backing, but I want more.
Overall though it is a solid IPA.
New bottle best by 9/13, Crustal clear appearance. Aroma is citrus, pineapple, caramel, bready malt, some spice. Flavor is round, fruity, citrus, nice pine, very good bready malt base. Like drinking a pilsener if it were an ipa. A finely crafted brew that took me a few times to really appreciate.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Very good IPA. Citrus and tropical fruits dominate with a nice balance of caramel sweetness. 7%abv seems to be the perfect level for an IPA as all the best ones land about at that point. Really refreshing and tasty beer.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Tap, Closed For Business, Charleston SC. Pale gold, fine white head. Stunningly fresh and beguiling hop nose--lemon sorbet, a whole grove of orange trees in bloom. Very generous without being overbearing. A tough balancing act to pull off. A bright wash of perfume-infused grapefruit citrus flavor, light body with a clean dry finish. Impressive and sophisticated if you’re paying attention. But not so egocentric that you couldn’t enjoy it while doing something else. A classy world-beating-but-not-so-crude-as-to-brag sort of beer. Roger Federrer in a glass.

bottle @ GBBF. Small white head, almost clear, golden yellow. Nice hoppy aroma of orange, grapefruit, maybe some apricot. Bitter aftertaste, hops in every way. Very fruity: citrus, grapefruit, a hint of vanilla. Good IPA

4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured with a golden hue and an inch of head that quickly faded. Tasted of lemons and a little peach. Hoppy as an imperial ipa, but much lighter bodied. The bitterness lingers and has a cumulative effect. The more I drank the more similar to a bitter Belgian ipa it became.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle into a pint glass at the Great British Beer Festival 2011. Cloudy yellow with little head. Slightly overhopped to make it a bit sharp, but otherwise nice. Flowery hoppy aroma.
