Bottle. Pours an unclear orange with an average, off-white head. Aromas of light malts, caramel, and lots of hops (pine, orange, grapefruit, peach). Flavor is slightly sweet with a strong hop flavor. Hop notes of grapefruit, pine and other sweet fruits nicely balanced by some moderate malts.

Clear deep orange beer, creamy yellowish head, unstable and adhesive. Aroma: exotic fruits, passion and pineapple. MF: good carbon, full body. Taste: very fruity, passion fruits, bit of spices, grapefruits, bitter hop, pretty sweet too, some alcohol. Aftertaste: lemony, citrus, sour pineapple, very long lasting bitter. Very nice balanced IPA!

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
[keg at BrewDog Bar, Edinburgh] Just a fantastic IPA, from start to finish. Inviting clear gold with a thin white head, the aromas of fruity hop come out even from a cold keg pour. As it warms, the tropical and orange aromas become even more in evidence. Very drinkable, lovely slightly sweet fruitiness before a bitter hop finish. Alcohol is there, but only just noticeable. I think this one does well because it’s so balanced, and everything is restrained – there’s nothing in yer face about this one, it’s superbly crafted

Tasted at Ballast Point. Light orange color with a fizzy white head. Good hoppy aroma of pine and citrus. Very good piney hop taste transitioning to a smooth sweet caramel flavor.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at The Dirty Truth. Pour is pale blonde/gold with a large bubbly white head. Great carbonation and lacing. Aroma is of sweet flowers with some pungent grapefruit and a bitter hops perfume. Flavor is hop juice with a sweet caramel/candied sugar finish. Taste is very much like an imperial ipa but without the alcohol burn in the finish. Quite good, but not that well balanced.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Beautiful orange copper with a pillowy white head. Gorgeous lacing throughout. I just have to sit and admire this baby. Bouqet of grapefruit and melon. Pungent hop flavor with citrus and the perfet malt balance. Lingering sweetness with long lasting bitterness. Dry finish with some alcohol warmth, I can’t put it down, it is soo good.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Sample at Stockholm Beer and Whiskey Festival 2011. Aroma has a lot of tropical fruits, mango, pineapple and other sweet aromas. Taste has a punch of bitterness but balanced by a heavy malt base with sweetness that rounds the beer off as it goes down.
