4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle pours amber with an off-white head. Aroma shows notes of caramel, mango, orange, and pine. Flavor shows the same with additional notes of peach, tangerine, and apricot. Overall body is moderate, and exceptionally fruity with well balanced bitterness.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Sampled at an ESBLS tasting at Bigeloís. A hazy dingy gold beer with a big soapy white head. Nice lacing. Very nicely done! Soft citrus flavors with peppery spice, bread, some bitterness. This one has a cool personality. Pretty much what one wants in an IPA.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: JUN 3, 2011 Man, what a great IPA. Smells like mango, tastes like grapefruit, all wrapped in a bitter hoppy shell. The malts give Sculpin the tiniest bit of sweetness on the front, but the beer truly is a showcase of hops, bitter and citric and dry as the finish turns piney and resinous. Not an IPA for the timid, this bottle does stretch the limits of the amounts of hops that can be pounded into a single India Pale Ale. But, hey, fuck the timid. Lifeís too short to drink underhopped IPAs. So drink Sculpin. Itís delicious.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sampled at Brewvival 2011. On cask, it was a little flat. My palate could have been blown out by the time i got to this one, but I didnít really think that highly of this. Faded mellow "c" hops. With as much as this beer is hyped up, I canít wait to actually try a fresh batch sometime.

UPDATED: AUG 29, 2012 A really nice IPA, but for some reason it tasted a little bit thin to me. But overall, pretty strong.

picked up this beer when i was exploring the many unknown beers to me out there i tried many but this one stood out my new absolute favorite beer in the world. At 8 bucks for 22oz its pretty pricey though.aroma is full of citrus and it makes me excited on whats to come, hints of peach and mango are definately there as the bottle indicates on the label.

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Nice pour, very foamy, nice aroma as well, lures you in like the song of the siren. Smell floral and citrus. Very murky, surprisingly murky.
Taste is a hop bomb, torches the tongue, sweet, floral, and citrus hops, very well hopped IPA, not alot of backbone to it, but as an IPA this is excellent, ranks right up there with the best due to the hop profile and full flavor. Very well done, one of the best IPAs out there. I had this once before and was not that impressed but I think it was old, this is fresh, and it is nice.
