4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
This was a fantastic beer.
The hop profile was fantastic bright and hoppy. Plenty of citrus and tropical fruits, a pleasure to drink.

Bottle 33 cl from Systembolaget. Clear orange with a nice white head. Lots of tropical fruit, passion fruit, generic citrus, lemon, grapefruit, pine, grassy, caramel. Very well balanced. Medium/light body, medium carbonation, refreshing, smooth, bitter finish. Really nice!

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
The beer pours a dark golden copper color with tinges of orange. It produces a nice three finger off white head that dissipates rather quickly into a nice layer covering the beer and running around the edge of the glass. Big aroma on this. An immediate dankness rose up from the glass. I got hints of pine, with citrus, mild grapefruit with a hint of lemon. I also got big tropical fruits, definitely some mango. Maybe a hint of peach and a dash of apricot. There is also some nice malty sweetness coming through that masks the alcohol nicely. Starts off very soft on the palate. Not a ton of carbonation to speak of. A lot more lemon on the taste. Picking up a bit more peach and apricot on the palate as well. Middle of the mouth the bitterness comes back into play, some of that piney grapefruit. Slightly sweet towards the back and it finishes very clean. Not really any trace of the alcohol. The body on this is medium light to medium. Itís a rather crisp beer. Some lacing left on the glass. A nice west coast IPA.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
From a bottle. Pours a dark golden orange with a thick white head that dissipates. Aroma is rather muted but is well balanced with hops, citrus and other fruits and a hint grass. Taste is well balanced with citrus up front. Do I taste a hint of caramel from the malt? Perhaps that is the mango and other fruits but it is a nice middle tone to balance out the citrus and hops. Middle is a bit of hop and a crisp and clean finish. Palate is citrus/grass followed by hops and a nice finish.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from Bhensonb. Thanks a bunch, man. Big lemony/orange hoppiness in the nose that mixes well with a deep floral sweetness. The initial taste lives up to the promise! There is a big hoppy smack with the balancing sweetness right there with it. Perfect timing. Palate is a bit rough with the hoppy bitterness, but it runs a smooth malt softness right away. The beer finishes just dry enough. This would be regular for me if I could get it, and is a solid 4.2 without hesitation. Thanks for the beer.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Golden, amber, copper with a white, two-finger, frothy head.
Smells piney, not super big (reminder that this one isnít imperial), malt comes through as toast, butter, and a bit of caramel. Standard ipa aroma and no citrus or fruit.
The tastes come through in cycles. First is hops, pine leads. Then malt, mostly butter, some biscuit, a little bread, and in there is some fruit. Bit of pineapple and a tinge of grapefruit. Then pine comes back into the mix.
A well-rounded ipa, that approaches drinking like a double. Multiple flavors are present. Itís not hop or malt dominant. Itís also not totally pine or fruit dominant. Very good.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
On tap at the Brass Tap on Round Rock. Pours a clear deep amber with small white head that leaves some lace. Nice is pine and lemon and grapefruit with some biscuit. Excellent upfront balance of sweet malts and bitterness with a great dry finish. Medium slick body with average carbonation. This is an exceptional example of an Ipa.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Maybe the best IPA ivíe ever had, although it feels more like a double. All the citrus you could possibly want, almost as Hopslam and Nugget Nectar had a baby.
A truly fantastic beer.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a dark golden color with a white head that does not go away at all and leaves large amounts of lazing. Smells very fruity and a bit sweet maybe caramel on the head, yet the hops are there. This beer starts off with a bit og malty sweetness and fruityness at the the start and then goes into a hop parade and leaves a not so bitter finish. Great beer, wish I had more than one
