4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours a clear medium gold with a fluffy lil’ head. Nose is dank pine forest, and something reminiscent of juniper berries. Flavor is a gloriuos expression of west coast hops. Citrus rind and pine forest. Maybe a bit on the bold side for a single IPA, but a really good one at that.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle pour. A little underwhelmed by this, given the hype. Has a unique taste but a somewhat weak body. I don’t even know if i’d call it an IPA. Not bad though.

UPDATED: JUL 26, 2014 Bottle pour. Golden with thin white head. Some lacing. Pleasant citrus hop aroma. Taste is bitter and grapefruit with some sweetness. Refreshing.
I enjoyed this again from a can, with the same impression. A very nice IPA with citrus and fruity aromas and taste.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bright amber with a white head. Pure hop goodness in the aroma, tropical fruit sweetness and fresh citrus, far from harsh. Flavour is also very tropical, inviting and clean with a mindblowing hop composition that comes across more as lovely juice rather than hop plants. Body is light and it goes down easily.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
P: A nice golden orange pour with a thick white head. S: Oranges, tropical fruits, pineapples, grapefruit, slight caramel, but its pretty much hops all the way. T: Pineapples, some tropical fruits, slight pine, some bready cracker malt, but thats really hidden, pretty much it just pounds you with hop. M: Carbonation sting, crispy, with slight bitterness with a grapefruit sticky finish. O: Just a wave of hops.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber from Hy-Vee Liquor (!) in Quincy, IL (!!). Pours a clear golden orange with a windowpane-inducing white head. Aroma is a mix of subtle light-colored fleshy fruits, mostly apricot with a piney backbone. Tastes like a pine cone wrapped in incredibly subtle fruit flavors, and has a surprisingly dry finish. Not too boozy, but the malt characteristics do get crushed a bit by the fruits and hops.
