4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
22oz bottle, although I’ve had it from growler as well. Beautiful amber hue, and great carbonation, very fresh at time of sampling. So much citrus intermingling with the resin aroma, little bit of a tropical note. Very well balanced, hop profile goes right through the palate start to finish.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Not your average IPA with loads of mango, apricots and peaches on the nose. Taste is not as sweet as aroma, instead subduing the fruits and the pines creating a mild yet distinctly bitter beverage. Different.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Tasted from a 12oz can. It poured a clear amber hue that was quite effervescent, with a frothy head that left streaky lacing. A pleasing hoped orange nose with kicking hops on the taste buds. Thanks to the dude who recommended this to me while pondering my beer purchase.

PunkAGM2015 rate catchup from notes. 6/6/15. Hazy gold. Oily with soft carbonation. Big grapefruit (not so different from the Sculpin Grapefruit in many ways) and tropical notes. Fruity deliciousness. Outstanding IPA,

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a clear orange with white head. Aroma or tropical and citrus fruits and some sweet notes. Taste is a nice clean assertive bitterness throughout with a caramel backbone. Pine, grapefruit, mango, and biscuity flavors. Medium bodied. Very well done IPA.

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Nice pour, very foamy, nice aroma as well, lures you in like the song of the siren. Smell floral and citrus. Very murky, surprisingly murky.
Taste is a hop bomb, torches the tongue, sweet, floral, and citrus hops, very well hopped IPA, not alot of backbone to it, but as an IPA this is excellent, ranks right up there with the best due to the hop profile and full flavor. Very well done, one of the best IPAs out there. I had this once before and was not that impressed but I think it was old, this is fresh, and it is nice.

Fat på Monks. Ljus bärnstensfärgad vätska med vitt skum. Doftar mango och nätmelon. Wohoo vilken beska! Mycket besk med stor sötma och fruktighet. Välbalanserad. Ruggigt bra ipa!

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at Tony Roma’s in Anaheim. Pours a clear golden with a creamy, small off-white head that laces. Sweet tropical fruit aroma of peach, mango, grapefruit and pine. Sweet flavour of grapefruit, malt, tropical fruit and pine with a dry, bitter, hoppy finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Excellent. Best IPA I have tried.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Clear golden pour, with just a touch of amber, coupled with a very nice head and long lasting lacing. The nose is a complex blend of grapefruit, mango and other sweet tropicals against a subtle spruce. Light medium body with a smooth texture. The carbonation level is a touch above normal. The outstanding flavor profile is expertly complex and follows the nose. Grapefruit leads then flows into the sweeter hop flavors. In the middle the biscuit malt comes through against a subtle spruce flavor. The finish effervesces into a grapefruit bitter tartness over a caramel sweetness. This is an outstanding complex hop flavor bomb.
