Glad sculpin is hitting a wider distribution network. Pours a see through golden orange with a lacing thin white head. Aromas of huge citrus, lemon, apricot, slight grass. Similar flavors with almost a bubblegum finish. Hoppy with a dry finish. Excellent ipa.

On tap at the Linkery, Sweet and bitter with lots of citrus and slight pine. It has a caramel/honey backbone that comes with a hearty dose of malts to balance the big hop kick. Very clean and fresh, its actually between a double and a regular IPA. Very tasty a fruity finish.

4.3 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Best aroma I’ve had since Hopslam. Big grapefruit bitterness and piney hops. The foam is filmy and clustery, like sea foam. Nice oily finish. Really good, I hate I’m heading home away from this!

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Light amber with a fine white head. Powerful aroma: pine, bubble gum, pineapple, tropical. Tons of bright and crisp hop flavour, dry clean hop finish. Exceptionally beautiful west coast IPA.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
From a 22 ounce bottle into a frosted pint glass. Harsh hoppy bitterness follows this from aroma to first sip to aftertaste. Excellent. I get pine and citrus (grapefruit) together. I find it easy to drink.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
I enjoyed this one, but it was different than i expected. cloudy appearance. has a very apricot/peachy sweet flavor with a big load of dry hop in the finish. i think its just personal taste, because obviously this is a well made beer, but i prefer my IPAs more on the bitter and dry end of the spectrum while this one is more bright and zingy while still having some IBUs. I will have to revisit someday, as i’ve only had one 22oz bomber, but as it stands I prefer their Big Eye to this one.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This is a very bright, solid IPA. Strong citrus notes with a semi dry finish. Theta a reason it’s among the best.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bright gold pour with a thin white head that left a few spots of lacing. Bready aroma with a lot of pine and citrus hops, which lean more towards lemon and grapefruit. Flavor is very lemony, somewhat doughy, with a sharp pine bite. Light and crisp, pretty refreshing. Well carbonated. Lingering bitter finish that seems slightly abrasive. A good beer, no doubt, but I’m having trouble trying to figure out why this is highly rated. For the trouble you have to go through to get it, I’d rather have Pliny, or even Blind Pig.
