4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: NOV 9, 2010 Bomber. Pours a clear, light golden-orange with one finger off-white head.
Awesome aromas here. Nose of floral, pine, orange, resin and honey. Thin lace. Light carbonation.Taste similar to nose; citrus, pine and resin with a decent malt backbone. Not too bitter or hoppy. The taste is just short of the aromas. Medium finish.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Near clear straw colour pour. Small lasting light beige head. Sadly it is clear right away that this is an old bottle.. I can see that this was great once but it has become a malty Sculpin Iím afraid... I get some fruity hops on the nose but a pretty malty base on the palate. Potentially a much higher rating but have to settle for 3.8 now. Iíll be back. I hope.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: JAN 3, 2014 Aroma is of strong citrus like citra hops. Taste of strong citrusy and a mild hop after taste. This is an excellent ipa. A little more bitterness could make the flavor more pronounced other than that this is great ipa.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sample @ M÷WF. Hazy golden with one finger white head. Aroma of grass, pine, citrus and orange with some grains in the background. Taste of bitter lemon and grapefruit peels with grainy malts also noticeable. Nice prickly mouthfeel with long lasting bitterness.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Have had this beer on a couple occasions both fresh and a few months old. It continues to rate high but I was not overly impressed and though a well made beer I think this one is boosted by local support. Good hop balance that doesnít overpower and decent nose. Well balanced and highly drinkable but could be a little thicker on the palate with the malt base. Overall a nice beer but does not live up to the Midwest IPAís or other West Coast upper tier IPAís.

4.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 20/20
This reminds me of two of my other all-time favorite IPAs with the great parts of each blended together; Port Wipeout and Nugget Nectar. It has a great floral, fresh hop flavor that sticks to your palate. Unmatched freshness and plenty of citric and somewhat sweet hop flavors make up the profile but there are many subtleties. Why donít I live in California?

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
I paid 17 bucks for a bomber. It did not live up to the hype or the price tag. It was a good IPA however. Golden color, small head, good lacing. Hoppy aroma and slightly tropical. Hop bitterness, hop flavor and tropical fruit are the main flavors. Not as bitter or hoppy as I expected. Smooth finish with minimal hops lingering on the palate. I would like to try this in Cali to ensure freshness.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Liquid gold with a little reddish amber. The citrus and grapefruit punch you in the nose first. Medium boddied with smooth carbonation. Grass, wet hay, grapefruit and lemon assault your tongue and lead the battle against boring brews. This is a great IPA. Very drinkable becasue it isnít obnoxiuosly bitter.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Systembolaget. Pours slightly golden hazy with a white layer of foam that settles to fine but prominent layer through out the session. The aroma is all citrus, fruits, pines, anything but malt or yeast. The taste is medium-full, waves of citrus, fruit and pine. Somewhat sweet. Very soft and lovely texture. For an american IPA it is very tasty, but as with most of these beers I miss the maltiness.
