Hoppy aroma is a beautiful blend of pine, citrus, and mango. Crystal clear, light copper appearance. Malts get lost in bitterness and finishing hops, but I wasnít looking for that in this beer. Persistent, tiny bubbles of carbonation rise from the laser etched bottom of my glass, creating a very small but persistent head that releases those wonderful aromas from start to finish. The carbonation creates an incredibly light mouthfeel. Despite the lack of malt balance, an excellent beer with a very nice blend of hops.

4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
One of my favorite IPAs, unique for its effervescence and crispness, plenty of hoppiness but without a heavy aftertaste, and an amazing appearance w nice foamy head. Great beer to drink and to admire in between quaffs.

650ml bottle from Slowbeer. Pours amber with a big head. Big nose, floral and hoppy. Typical DIPA taste, strong and sweet and bitter. A good one.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Iíve had in 22 and 12oz bottles as well as 12oz cans. Pours a nice orange/golden, has a small white head. Aroma is of juicy aromatic hops, apricot and lemon. Has a light body, good carbonation and very easy drinking for 7%. Has up forward hop taste and then the fruity, juicy hops kick in. Nicely underlying roasted malt flavor as well this is a must for fans of the style.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
From the 650 ml. bottle. Slightly hazy orange pour leading up to a lingering off-white foamy head. Lacing. The aroma is strong with floral, citrus, and grapefruit hops behind that toasted biscuit sensation. The body is medium, kind of smooth, yet biting. The taste boasts a generous hop presence behind a yeasty and toasted bread-like flavor. Lingers quite some time at the end. Why go nuts looking for Heady Topper when you can find Sculpin more easily and get basically the same enjoyment.

On-tap, this pours a golden amber color with a slight head. Has a very citrusy hop aroma. The flavor is big, bold but yet very well-balanced. Finishes with a nice bitter finish. A world class IPA!

Pours gold, smells of sweet citrus and earth. Taste is more bitter than sweet, with a dry finish. Overall a good one to try!

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
33 cl in teku, travelled overseas from SD to Italy in my brotherís lugagge, thanks Bob.
Pours a medium/ 2 fingers white and dense head; bit unclear bright orange to rusty/amber colour. Dude this ale smells Ultimate : huge mango, sweet orange, tropical, strawberries, piny, nose refreshing, dank. Taste has again a very nice mango/orange colour fruit taste, caramel, earthy, very resiny; sweetness itís low to moderate but itís very present especially with the fruity notes, medium + and very refined bitterness, quite strong but never annoying. Light to medium body, perfect amount of carbonation which is on moderate level, silky texture. The flavours, notes and hops are strong and "stinging", but actually very well put together and ejoyable, the fruitiness is well balanced with the hops. Excellent overall balance, this brew is an establishment in its category, smooth bitterness.. I forogt about what, for me, was the best part: the aroma was just MIND BLOWING ; )

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz can with 11/5/15 code date.
Appearance: Golden and slightly hazy, with a thick white foam cap.
Aroma: Intense mix of melon, grapefruit, pineapple, grass, and resin.
Taste: Light bready malt that quickly turns to sharp bitterness and dank, resinous, earthy hop flavors. Grapefruit and grassiness is there, but very low.
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with a medium-high carbonation
Finish: Seems to balance well on the finish, with only a slight lingering bitterness. It does leave a sticky resin on the tongue.
Overall: Well done west coast IPA that has a great aroma, with a dominant hop bitterness that doesnít overpower thru the finish. Fairly light malt base that letís the hops shine but still remains balanced.
